1. Do not trigger flash near flammable or liquid gases (such as gasoline, solvents, etc.). Danger of explosion!

2. Do not use flash photography on drivers of cars, buses or trains, or on motorcycles or bicycles. They may be temporarily blinded by the strong light, which may lead to traffic accidents!

3. Do not trigger the flash at close range to the eyes! The use of flash on human or animal eyes can damage the retina, leading to serious visual disorders and even blindness!

4. Use only the power supply listed in this manual!

5. Do not expose the battery to extreme heat, such as sunlight or fire!

6. Do not let the flashlight or battery charge come into contact with dripping or splashing water (such as rain water)!

7. Protect your flash in extreme heat or humidity!

8. Do not place the flash in the glove compartment. When the flash is triggered, do not place transparent objects in front of or above the reflecting screen. There should not be any dirt on the reflecting screen. Otherwise, the high energy generated by the flash will burn the objects on the reflecting screen or damage the reflecting screen.

9. Do not touch the flash after continuous triggering. Danger of cautery!

10. Do not remove the Flash by yourself! Danger of high voltage contact! Non-professional personnel shall not carry out repairs to the components inside the flash lamp.

Make sure that the flash charging indicator and the viewfinder indicator is lit before shooting the charging indicator.

When you need a manual exposure, you can set the flash brightness according to your own requirements, in 1/128 power to 1/1 full power in 1/3 of the adjustment of the increment to set the flash output.

Press the mode selector button and set the flash to < M > to put the flash into M mode.

1. Press < mode > key until the LCD display S1/S2 mode, these two modes are suitable as off-line sub-lamp role to create a variety of lighting effects.

2. In these two modes to adjust the output brightness and M mode, just press the operation “-”, “+” key to adjust the power size.

S1 mode is suitable for the manual flash environment. It will sense every flash of the master flash and trigger the flash synchronously. The effect is the same as using the wireless flash. To use this mode normally, your master flash should be set to manual flash, TTL flash systems with pre-flash should not be used, and red-eye reduction with multiple flashes should not be used either.

S2 mode is suitable for TTL flash environments, also known as “pre-flash cancel mode”, which ignores the pre-flash signal from the TTL flash and synchronizes with the master flash, thus supporting the master flash operating in TTL mode.

If the S1/S2 mode selected by the slave light cannot be synchronized with the master light, please confirm the flash mode of the main control light and correctly set the slave light’s induction mode and power output.

When using the S1 and S2 modes, the following conditions are avoided:

~ the master light uses the red-eye reduction function;

~ the master light uses the modeling flash;

~ the master light uses the command mode (Nikon) or wireless mode (Canon);

~ and the ST-E2 is used as the flash controller.

1. Do not attempt to detach, modify, and repair the battery by yourself. Any unauthorized operation may cause battery leakage, overheating, burning, and other hazards.

2. Be sure to use the provided or certified chargers to prevent overcharging and shortcuts.

3. If unusual charging speed and indicator flashing occur, please stop charging and contact our customer service immediately.
