To ensure a safe installation of your MPAYEL 8002-BLACK ceiling fan, please follow these rules:

1. To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn off the electricity to the fan at the main fuse box or circuit panel before beginning.

2. All wiring must be in accordance with the local electrical codes or National Electrical Code. Electrical installation should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.

3. To avoid personal injury, the use of gloves may be necessary while handling fan parts with sharp edges.

4. Make sure the installation site you choose allows clear space for the blades to rotate and at least seven 7 feet (2.13 meters) of clearance between the floor and the fan blade tips. The fan should be mounted so that the tips of the blades are at least thirty 18 inches (45.72 centimeters) from walls or other upright structures.

5. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, mount fan only to an outlet box marked acceptable for fan support and use mounting screws provided with the outlet box. Most outlet boxes commonly used for the support of lighting fixtures are not acceptable for fan support and may need to be replaced. Consult a qualified electrician if in doubt.

6. The outlet box and ceiling support structure must be securely mounted and capable of supporting at least 45 KGs.

7. To avoid personal injury or damage to the fan and other items, be cautious when working around or cleaning the fan.

8. Do not use water or detergents when cleaning the fan or fan blades. A dry dust cloth or lightly dampened cloth will be suitable for most cleaning.

9. After making electrical connections, spliced conductors should be turned upward and pushed carefully up into the outlet box. The wires should be spread apart with the grounded conductor and the equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box.

10. Electrical diagrams are for reference only.

11. The fan is suitable for indoor use only.

Before beginning assembly, ensure you have the following tools. Note that some tools are not included with the product.

The wiring outlet box and connectors must be the type required by your local code. The minimum wire should be a 3-conductor (2-wire with ground). The required wire size (A.W.G) depends on the installation length:

Please check to ensure you have received all of the following parts before assembly:

1. Screws (for wood ceiling)

2. Expansion Screws

3. Safety Rope

4. Hanging Plate

5. Hand-Held Remote

6. Ceiling Fan Body

7. ABS Blades (x3)

8. Light Cover

Follow these steps for ground assembly before mounting the fan to the ceiling:

Step 1. Twist the light cover counterclockwise and take it down.

Step 2. Pull out the socket of the light strip.

Step 3. Twist out the screw that locks the round hole in the disc. Loosen the remaining two screws.

Step 4. Twist the disc clockwise and take it down.

Step 5. Fix the three fan blades in turn with screws.

Step 6. Align the disc with the screw, snap it in, and tighten the screw.

Step 7. Connect the light strip socket.

Step 8. Rotate the shade clockwise to secure it.

WARNING: Failure to disconnect the power supply prior to installation may result in serious injury or death.

Ensure the hanging location allows the blade a clearance of 7 feet (2.13 meters) from the floor and 18 inches (45.72 centimeters) from any wall or obstruction.

For a concrete ceiling:

1. Mark the location, then drill two holes in the ceiling.

2. Secure the mounting bracket to the building structure with the two expansion screws provided. Tighten the screws.

For a wood ceiling:

1. Mark the location for the ceiling fan first.

2. Secure the mounting bracket to the building structure with the four screws provided.

3. Add a spacer to each screw.

WARNINGS:

To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or personal injury, mount the fan to an outlet box marked acceptable for fan support of 15.88kg (35 lbs) or less. Use screws supplied with the outlet box. Most outlet boxes commonly used for light fixtures are not acceptable for fan support and may need to be replaced. Consult a qualified electrician if in doubt.

Do not operate this fan with a variable (Rheostat) wall controller or dimmer switch. Doing so could result in damage to the ceiling fan’s remote control unit.

1. Connect the ceiling fan wire (fire wire with fire wire, zero wire with zero wire) reserved with the ceiling plate.

2. Carefully lift the fan to the hook and ensure it is safely attached to the hook.

3. Connect the wiring terminals as shown in the wiring diagram:

• Connect the product motor input male terminal plug to the controller output female terminal plug.

• Connect the product LED input male terminal plug to the LED output female terminal plug.

• In the three-position terminal, connect the Power neutral Line from the house to the controller’s neutral line input.

• Connect the Ground Wire (yellow-green) from the house to the corresponding terminal.

• Connect the Power Cord (live wire) from the house to the controller’s live line input.

• Note: The antenna wire should not be connected to other wires.

To make the fan operational, install AAA/1.5V batteries in the hand-held remote. Store the remote away from excessive heat or humidity.

Remote Code Matching: Long press the “SET UP” button within 5 seconds of when the light is turned on. If it beeps 2 times, the code is successfully matched.

Remote Button Functions:

ON/OFF: Light ON/OFF

ALL OFF: Turns all functions off

K: Color Temperature Switch

*: Small Night Light

Brightness +: Click or long press to enhance brightness

Brightness -: Click or long press to weaken brightness

Color Temp +: Long press to increase color temperature

Color Temp -: Long press to decrease color temperature

F/R: Fan rotates forward / Fan rotates in reverse

2H: Turn off automatically after 2-hour countdown

123456: Fan speed, 1 is the weakest, 6 is the strongest

Nature Wind Icon: Activates nature wind mode

FAN OFF: Turns the fan off

If airflow is desired in the opposite direction, tap the R/F button on the remote. The fan will stop and then rotate in the opposite direction. Use the following settings for seasonal performance:

If the fan will not start, check the following probable causes and suggested remedies:

Probable Cause 1: Fuse or circuit breaker blown.

Suggested Remedy: Check main and branch circuit fuses or circuit breakers.

Probable Cause 2: Loose power line connections to the fan, or loose switch wire connections in the switch housing.

Suggested Remedy: Check line wire connections to fan and switch wire connections in the switch housings. CAUTION: Make sure main power is turned off!

Probable Cause 3: Dead battery in remote control.

Suggested Remedy: Replace with a new battery.

Probable Cause 4: Reversing switch in neutral position.

Suggested Remedy: Make sure the reversing switch position is all the way to one side.

WARNING: For your own safety, turn off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker before troubleshooting.

If the fan is noisy, check the following probable causes and suggested remedies:

Probable Cause 1: Loose screws in motor housing.

Suggested Remedy: Check to make sure all screws in the motor housing are snug (do not overtighten).

Probable Cause 2: Wire connectors inside housing rattling.

Suggested Remedy: Check to make sure wire connectors in the switch housing are not rattling against each other or against the interior wall of the switch housing. CAUTION: Make sure main power is turned off!

Probable Cause 3: Motor noise caused by solid state variable speed control.

Suggested Remedy: Some fan motors are sensitive to signals from solid-state variable speed controls. Solid-state controls are not recommended; choose an alternative control method.

WARNING: For your own safety, turn off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker before troubleshooting.

If the fan wobbles excessively, check the following probable causes and suggested remedies:

Probable Cause 1: Setscrew in downrod support is loose.

Suggested Remedy: Tighten both setscrews securely in the downrod support.

Probable Cause 2: Setscrew in downrod/hanger ball assembly is loose.

Suggested Remedy: Tighten the setscrew in the hanging plate assembly.

Probable Cause 3: Hanger bracket and/or ceiling outlet box is not securely fastened.

Suggested Remedy: Tighten the hanger bracket screws to the outlet box, and secure the outlet box.

Periodic cleaning is the only maintenance needed for your new ceiling fan. When cleaning, use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. Abrasive cleaning agents are not required and should be avoided to prevent damage to the finish.

CAUTION: Do not use water when cleaning your ceiling fan. It could damage the motor or the finish and create the possibility of electrical shock.
