The required cabinet cutout dimensions vary by model. Please refer to the specifications for your model series.

For models DAS 262x, DAS 292x, DAS 4620, DAS 4920, DAS 2920:

Front panel height (K): ≥112mm

Minimum cabinet depth: ≥90 mm

Installation depth (G): 273mm

For models DAS 4630, DAS 4930:

Front panel height (K): ≥118mm

Minimum cabinet depth: ≥96 mm

Installation depth (G): 279mm

The installation may require the use of an optional Depth stop. The relationship between the dimensions is T = K – G.

1. Slide the main unit into the prepared cabinet cutout.

2. Secure the unit inside the cabinet using four T20 (4×15 mm) screws into the side brackets.

3. For AL DAS 2x2x, AL DAS 4×20, and DAS 4×30 models, push the unit in until the side clips “Click” into place.

The number of screws depends on your model:

For DAS x6xx models: Use two T20 screws.

For DAS x9xx models: Use four T20 screws.

For 900mm-wide units, you may need to attach a side component using four T20 (M4 x 8.5 mm) screws, with two on each side.

The screw size depends on your model series:

For models DAS 292x, DAS 4920, and DAS 4930, use four T20 (4x15mm) screws.

For some 900mm-wide models (such as DAS 2920, DAS 4920, DAS 4930), use four T20 (4x12mm) screws to secure the front extendable section.

The number of screws required depends on your model:

For models DAS 262x, DAS 4620, DAS 4630: Secure the frame using three T20 (4×15 mm) screws.

For models DAS 292x, DAS 4920, DAS 4930, DAS 2920: Secure the frame using five T20 (4×15 mm) screws.

After securing the main frame, install the two side components.

1. Install the Miele DKFS 31-P / DKFS 31-R recirculation box onto the top of the main unit using eight T20 (M4x8.5) screws.

2. Install the Miele DKFS 31-P / DKFS 31-R filters into the recirculation box.

3. Install the charcoal filter into the main appliance until it clicks securely into place.

4. Install the Miele DUU 150 recirculation vent kit to direct the filtered air back into the room.

1. Connect a duct with a diameter of ø150 mm to the exhaust port on top of the unit.

2. For UL models being installed for extraction, a flexible duct can be connected to a Miele DUU 151 wall vent.

After all mechanical installation steps are completed, plug the appliance’s power cord into a suitable wall outlet.

1. First, remove the four T20 (4x30mm) screws that are securing the unit from inside the cabinet.

2. Press the release clips located on the sides of the unit.

3. While pressing the release clips, pull the unit forward and out of the cabinet.
