Alternatively, you can fill water directly into the water tank while it is still in the appliance using a suitable vessel. Do not exceed the 10/15 cup marking.

To set the timer, press and hold the “TIMER” button. While holding, press the “Hours” and “Minutes” buttons to set the starting time. Release the “TIMER” button. To activate the timer, press the “TIMER” button briefly. The “TIMER” lamp will light up, and the start time will appear briefly on the display. The brewing process will start at the set time.


How should I clean the MELITTA LOOK THERM?

Allow the appliance to cool down. Clean the housing surfaces with a soft, moist cloth. Clean the jug and filter insert after every use. Rinse the jug, filter insert, water tank, and water tank lid with clear, warm water and a small quantity of washing-up liquid. The filter insert and water tank lid are also dishwasher safe.


How do I descale the MELITTA LOOK THERM?

Descale the appliance when the “CALC” lamp lights up. Use a liquid descaling agent for filter coffee machines. Fill at least 500 ml of descaling fluid into the water tank. Place the jug with the lid closed under the filter holder. Start descaling by pressing the “CALC” button. The process takes approximately 25 minutes. Once finished, the “CALC” lamp goes out. Rinse the appliance twice with fresh water after descaling.
