The lock is preset at the factory to operate at 0-0-0.
What is the first step to set your own combination?
With dials set to 0-0-0 (middle of numbers should be aligned with the red stripe), pull out the shackle.
What is the second step to set your own combination?
Turn the shackle 90° (1/4 turn).
What is the third step to set your own combination?
Press and hold the shackle down.
What is the fourth step to set your own combination?
Set the dials to your desired combination by lining up the middle of the numbers with the red stripe.
What is the fifth step to set your own combination?
Lift the shackle, return to closed position, and hold shackle down while scrambling numbers to lock.
What is the sixth step to re-open the lock?
To re-open the lock, set dials to your combination and lift shackle.
