Please follow these steps to assemble your LIFEGOODS LG1001408:

Step 1. Assemble the cross base by sliding the two metal pieces (B and C) together to form a cross shape.

Step 2. Attach the rotating base plate (I) to the assembled cross base. Align the holes and secure it using four bolts (E) and four washers (F). Then, attach the lower pole (D) to the rotating plate using the remaining four bolts (E) and four washers (F). Place the plastic cover (J) over the mechanism on the base.

Step 3. Insert the main parasol assembly (A) into the lower pole (D). Secure it firmly in place by tightening the locking knob (G).

Note: The parasol should not be used without parasol tiles or weighted tiles on the cross base.

To Open the Parasol:

1. Untie the strap that holds the canopy fabric together.

2. Squeeze the handle on the main pole and slide it upwards until the parasol is fully open.

3. Release the handle to lock the canopy in the open position.

To Rotate the Parasol:

1. Press the foot pedal located at the base of the pole to unlock the 360° rotation feature.

2. Gently push the parasol to rotate it to your desired position.

3. Release the foot pedal to lock the parasol in its new position.

To Close the Parasol:

1. Squeeze the handle on the main pole and slide it downwards until the parasol is fully closed.

2. Secure the canopy fabric using the attached strap.

To Use the Protective Cover:

1. Ensure the parasol is completely closed, secured with its strap, and dry.

2. Place the protective cover (K) over the top of the folded parasol. The cover has an integrated rod to help you guide it over the top.

3. Pull the cover all the way down and close it with the zipper.

• If the parasol malfunctions, has fallen or is damaged, do not use it and consult our customer service.

• Make sure that there is enough space around the parasol and that no persons or objects are near the parasol when you unfold it.

• Use the parasol only as protection from the sun. Do not use the parasol when it is windy, raining or snowing. Take the parasol apart in bad weather and store it.

• The parasol fits into a universal parasol base. Always use a suitable parasol base weighing at least 60 kg.

• Always place the parasol base on a solid, level and horizontal surface. Use the parasol only when the parasol base is stable.

• Check that the ribs are not bent and can move freely when you unfold the parasol.

• Do not hang objects from the ribs.

• Do not allow children to climb on or into the parasol.

• Fold the parasol when not in use.

• Keep the parasol away from heat sources and open flames.

• Do not cover the parasol airtight; this may cause mold to form.

• Put the protective cover over the parasol only when it is dry.

• The parasol should not be used without parasol tiles or weighted tiles.

Clean the product with a damp, clean cloth. Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents.

Store the product in a clean and dry place. Do not store the product in extreme high or extreme low temperatures.

At the end of its life, do not dispose of the product with normal household waste, but hand it in at a government designated collection point for recycling.

Dispose of the packaging and accessories in accordance with the environmental regulations in force in your local council. Pay attention to the symbols on the different packaging materials and – if necessary – dispose of them separately. The packaging materials are marked with letters and numbers: 1-7: plastic, 20-22: paper and cardboard, 80-98 composite materials.
