For your safety, please adhere to the following precautions when installing your LG LB641058 oven:

• Any electrical installation work must be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.

• The oven must be installed according to these instructions to avoid damage.

• The oven must be disconnected from the power supply before any installation or maintenance is performed.

• This oven must always be earthed.

The kitchen cabinet must have the following minimum dimensions for a low cabinet installation:

• Minimum Width: 560 mm

• Minimum Height: 600 mm

• Minimum Depth: 556 mm

The oven power supply must be located in the back area (P) of the kitchen cabinet or outside the installation space. A hole “P” in the back wall or “R” in the side wall is needed to pass the connection lead.

Follow these steps to install the LG LB641058 oven into a low cabinet:

1. Ensure the cabinet dimensions are correct and the power supply is properly located.

2. In accordance with the position of the power supply, make a hole “P” in the back wall or a hole “R” in the side wall of the kitchen cupboard to pass the connection lead.

3. Lift the oven using the side holes. Do not try to lift the oven by the door handle on the front.

4. Slide the oven into the cabinet.

5. Take care not to kink the wires of the electrical supply cable.

6. If you are also installing a hob, follow the hob installation instructions.

When installing the LG LB641058 oven in a high cabinet, the following requirements must be met:

• The cabinet dimensions must be:

– Minimum Width: 560 mm

– Height: 590 mm (within a range of minimum 575 mm to maximum 596 mm)

– Minimum Depth: 556 mm

• A minimum gap of 10mm must be maintained between the rear of the installed oven and the connecting wall.

• To lift the oven, use the side holes of the oven.

• The kitchen cabinet in contact with the oven must be heat resistant up to 90 °C.

• Any close units fronts must be heat resistant up to at least 70 °C.

For correct ventilation of the LG LB641058 oven, the following openings and gaps are required and must not be closed in any way:

• A ventilation opening of 50 mm should be present between the back wall and the floor of the installation cabinet.

• A ventilation gap of 5 mm is required between the oven top rim and the cooktop lower rim.

• A ventilation gap of 5 mm is required between both side rims of the oven and the cabinet.

• Ensure that the sides of the oven are not touching the front edges of the housing.

The LG LB641058 oven must be connected to the power supply following these instructions:

• The connection must be performed by a licensed specialist in accordance with these instructions and local regulations.

• Ensure the voltage shown on the rating plate is the same as the power supply voltage in your home (the oven’s components operate at 220-240V).

• Use a type H05 VV-F power cord.

• The oven must be connected to the power supply by means of an all-pole disconnect switch with a minimum contact gap of 3mm.

• The oven must be connected to an earthed socket by law.

• The supply plug must be accessible after installation.

• Correctly identify the phase (Live) and neutral conductor in the socket. An incorrect connection may damage the oven.

After sliding the LG LB641058 oven into place and connecting it to the power supply, you must secure the oven to the kitchen unit with screws.
