Any electrical installation work must be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. This electric appliance must be installed according to the instructions in order to avoid damage. The LG BSC 700E oven should be disconnected from the power supply before installation or maintenance. This oven should always be earthed.

First, ensure your kitchen cabinet dimensions meet the requirements. The oven power supply must be located in the back area (P) of the kitchen cabinet or outside the installation space. Depending on the position of the power supply, make a hole “P” in the back wall or a hole “R” in the side wall of the kitchen cupboard to pass the connection lead.

Lift the LG BSC 700E oven and slide it into the cabinet by using the side holes. Do not try to lift the oven by the door handle on the front. Take care not to kink the wires of the electrical supply cable.

If installing with hobs, follow the hob installation instruction.

The kitchen cabinet must have the following minimum dimensions for a low installation:

Width: 556 mm

Height: 600 mm

Depth: 560 mm

To install the LG BSC 700E oven in a high cabinet, first ensure the cabinet dimensions are correct. A gap of a minimum of 10mm must be maintained between the rear of the installed oven and the connecting wall. To lift the oven, use the side holes. The kitchen cabinet in contact with the oven must be heat resistant up to 90°C, and close units fronts must be heat resistant up to at least 70°C.

The kitchen cabinet must have the following dimensions for a high installation:

Width: minimum 556 mm

Height: 590 mm (with a range of minimum 575 mm to maximum 596 mm)

Depth: minimum 560 mm

For correct ventilation of the LG BSC 700E oven, the following is required:

– A ventilation opening of 50mm should be required between the back wall and the floor of the installation cabinet.

– A ventilation gap of 5mm is required between the oven top rim and the cooktop lower rim.

– A ventilation gap of 5mm is required between both side rims of the oven and the cabinet.

These openings must not be closed in any way. Ensure that the sides are not touching the front edges of the housing.

After connecting the LG BSC 700E oven to the power supply, secure the oven to the kitchen unit with screws.

The LG BSC 700E oven must be connected by a licensed specialist in accordance with the installation instructions and in compliance with local regulations.

– Make sure the voltage shown on the rating plate is the same as the power supply voltage in your home.

– Use a type H05 VV-F power cord.

– The oven must be connected to the power supply by means of an all-pole disconnect switch with a minimum contact gap of 3mm and must be connected to an earthed socket by law.

– The supply plug shall be accessible after the installation.

– The oven’s components operate at 220-240V. Identify the phase (Live) and neutral conductor in the socket. An incorrect connection may damage the oven.
