Any electrical installation work for the LG BP 700E oven must be carried out by a qualified electrician or a competent person.

Before installing your LG BP 700E oven, please adhere to the following safety precautions:

• The appliance must be installed according to the provided instructions to avoid damage.

• The oven must be disconnected from the power supply before any installation or maintenance work is performed.

• The oven must always be earthed.

To lift the LG BP 700E oven, use the side holes provided on the unit. Do not attempt to lift the oven by the door handle on the front.

For a low cabinet installation of the LG BP 700E oven, the cabinet must meet the following minimum dimensions:

• Width: 556 mm

• Depth: 560 mm

• Height: 600 mm

For a high cabinet installation of the LG BP 700E oven, the cabinet must meet the following dimensions:

• Minimum Width: 556 mm

• Minimum Depth: 560 mm

• Height Opening: 590 mm (with an acceptable range of 575 mm to 596 mm)

For correct ventilation of the LG BP 700E oven, please ensure the following:

• A ventilation opening of 50mm is required between the back wall and the floor of the installation cabinet.

• A ventilation gap of 5mm is required between the oven top rim and the cooktop lower rim.

• A ventilation gap of 5mm is required between both side rims of the oven and the cabinet.

• A gap of at least 10mm must exist between the rear of the installed oven and the connecting wall.

• These openings must not be closed in any way. Ensure the sides of the oven do not touch the front edges of the housing.

The kitchen cabinet that is in contact with the LG BP 700E oven must be heat resistant up to 90°C. Any close unit fronts must be heat resistant up to at least 70°C.

The LG BP 700E oven must be connected by a licensed specialist in accordance with the installation instructions and local regulations. Follow these steps:

• Confirm the voltage on the oven’s rating plate matches your home’s power supply voltage (220-240V).

• Use a type H05 VV-F power cord.

• The oven must be connected to the power supply using an all-pole disconnect switch with a minimum contact gap of 3mm.

• The oven must be connected to an earthed socket by law.

• Ensure the supply plug is accessible after installation.

• Correctly identify the phase (Live) and neutral conductor in the socket to prevent damage to the oven.

The power supply for the LG BP 700E oven must be located in the back area (P) of the kitchen cabinet or outside the installation space. In accordance with the position of the power supply, make a hole “P” in the back wall or a hole “R” in the side wall of the kitchen cupboard to pass the connection lead through. Take care not to kink the wires of the electrical supply cable.

After sliding the LG BP 700E oven into the cabinet and connecting it to the power supply, you must secure the oven to the kitchen unit using screws.
