Please adhere to the following safety precautions when installing your LG BC 600E oven:

Any electrical installation work must be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.

This electric appliance must be installed according to the instructions in order to avoid damage.

The LG BC 600E oven should be disconnected from the power supply before installation or maintenance.

For installation in a low cabinet, the kitchen cabinet dimensions must meet the following minimum requirements:

The oven power supply for the LG BC 600E must be located in the back area (P) of the kitchen cabinet or outside the installation space (cupboard). Depending on the position of your power supply, you will need to make a hole to pass the connection lead through. Make a hole “P” in the back wall or a hole “R” in the side wall of the kitchen cupboard.

To lift the LG BC 600E oven, use the side holes provided. Slide the oven into the cabinet. Do not try to lift the oven by the door handle on the front. Take care not to kink the wires of the electrical supply cable during this process. If you are also installing hobs, follow the hob installation instructions.

For installation in a high cabinet, the kitchen cabinet dimensions must meet the following requirements:

Minimum Width: 560 mm

Height: 590 mm (with an allowable range of 575 mm to 596 mm)

Minimum Depth: 556 mm

Yes, there are specific requirements for high cabinet installation. A minimum gap of 10mm must be maintained between the rear of the installed LG BC 600E oven and the connecting wall. Additionally, any kitchen cabinet surfaces in contact with the oven must be heat resistant up to 90°C, and close unit fronts must be heat resistant up to at least 70°C.

For correct ventilation of the LG BC 600E, the following is required:

A ventilation opening of 50mm should be made between the back wall and the floor of the installation cabinet.

A ventilation gap of 5mm is required between the oven top rim and the cooktop lower rim.

A ventilation gap of 5mm is required between both side rims of the oven and the cabinet.

These openings must not be closed in any way. Ensure that the sides of the oven are not touching the front edges of the housing.

After placing the LG BC 600E oven into the cabinet and connecting it to the power supply, you must secure the oven to the kitchen unit using screws.

The LG BC 600E oven must be connected by a licensed specialist in accordance with the installation instructions and in compliance with local regulations. Please ensure the following:

Make sure the voltage shown on the rating plate is the same as the power supply voltage in your home.

Use a type H05 VV-F power cord.

The oven must be connected to the power supply by means of an all-pole disconnect switch with a minimum contact gap of 3mm.

The oven must be connected to an earthed socket by law.

The supply plug must be accessible after the installation is complete.

The components of the LG BC 600E oven operate at 220-240V. When connecting to the socket, it is crucial to correctly identify the phase (Live) and neutral conductors. An incorrect connection may damage the oven. The oven must also be connected to Earth.
