General Use and Environment:

• Read, keep, and follow all instructions and heed all warnings.

• Do not use this apparatus near water.

• Clean only with a dry cloth.

• Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

• Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

• Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

• Never touch this apparatus or antenna during a thunder or lightning storm.

• When mounting a TV on the wall, make sure not to install the TV by hanging the power and signal cables on the back of the TV.

• Do not allow an impact shock or any objects to fall into the product, and do not drop anything onto the screen.

• Keep the packing anti-moisture material or vinyl packing out of the reach of children. Anti-moisture material is harmful if swallowed.

• Do not stick metal objects or any other conductive material into the power cord. Do not touch the end of the power cord while it is plugged in.

• To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not expose this product to rain, moisture or other liquids. Do not touch the TV with wet hands. Do not install this product near flammable objects such as gasoline or candles, or expose the TV to direct air conditioning.

• Do not expose to dripping or splashing and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, cups, etc. on or over the apparatus.

• Do not attempt to modify this product in any way without written authorization from LG Electronics.

Power Connection:

• Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

• It is recommended that appliances be placed upon a dedicated circuit. Do not connect too many appliances to the same AC power outlet as this could result in fire or electric shock. Do not overload wall outlets.

• Protect the power cord from physical or mechanical abuse. Pay particular attention to plugs, wall outlets, and the point where the cord exits the appliance.

• Do not move the TV with the power cord plugged in. Do not use a damaged or loose power cord. Grasp the plug when unplugging the power cord; do not pull on the cord.

• Ensure you connect the earth ground wire to prevent possible electric shock (for models with a three-prong grounded AC plug).

Antenna:

• If an outdoor antenna is installed, follow precautions to ensure it is grounded and not located near overhead power lines. Be sure the antenna system is grounded to provide protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges.

Moving and Cleaning:

• When cleaning, unplug the power cord and wipe gently with a soft cloth to prevent scratching. Do not spray water or other liquids directly on the TV. Do not clean with chemicals such as alcohol, thinners or benzine.

• When moving, make sure the product is turned off, unplugged, and all cables are removed. It may take 2 or more people to carry larger TVs. Do not press or put stress on the front panel of the TV.

Ventilation and Product Care:

• Install your TV where there is proper ventilation. Do not install in a confined space like a bookcase or in excessively dusty places.

• Do not press strongly upon the panel with your hand or a sharp object.

• Keep the product away from direct sunlight.

Viewing Environment:

• Viewing Time: When watching 3D content, take a 5 to 15-minute break every hour. Viewing 3D content for a long period may cause headaches, dizziness, fatigue, or eye strain.

• Viewing Distance: Maintain a distance of at least twice the screen diagonal length when watching 3D content. If you feel discomfort, move further away from the TV.

Viewing Age:

• Infants / Children: Viewing 3D content for children under the age of 5 is prohibited. Children under 10 may overreact, and special monitoring is required. Children perceive more stereoscopic depth than adults.

• Teenagers: Teenagers under 19 may be stimulated by light from 3D videos. Advise them not to watch 3D videos for a long time when they are tired.

• Elderly: The elderly may perceive less of a 3D effect. Do not sit closer to the TV than the recommended distance.

Health Conditions:

• Photosensitive Seizure or Chronic Illness: Some users may experience seizures or other abnormal symptoms when exposed to flashing lights or patterns from 3D content. Do not watch 3D videos if you feel nausea, are pregnant, or have a chronic illness such as epilepsy, cardiac disorder, or blood pressure disease.

• Vision Issues: 3D content is not recommended for those with stereo blindness or stereo anomaly. If you have strabismus (cross-eyed), amblyopia (weak eyesight), or astigmatism, you may feel fatigue easily. If your eyesight varies between your right and left eye, revise your eyesight prior to watching 3D content.

When to Stop Watching:

• Do not watch 3D content when you feel fatigued from lack of sleep, overwork, or drinking.

• If you experience symptoms like headache, eyeball pain, dizziness, nausea, palpitation, blurriness, discomfort, double image, or visual inconvenience, stop watching 3D content and rest until the symptoms subside. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

• Make sure to use LG 3D glasses. Otherwise, you may not be able to view 3D videos properly.

• Do not use 3D glasses instead of your normal glasses, sunglasses or protective goggles.

• Using modified 3D glasses may cause eye strain or image distortion.

• Do not keep your 3D glasses in extremely high or low temperatures, as this will cause deformation.

• The 3D glasses are fragile and can be easily scratched. Always use a soft, clean piece of cloth when wiping the lenses. Do not scratch the lenses with sharp objects or clean them with chemicals.

• If a fixed image (like a channel logo, on-screen menu, or video game HUD) is displayed on the screen for a long period, it can become permanently imprinted. This is called “image burn” or “burn-in” and is not covered by the warranty.

• Avoid displaying a fixed image on the TV screen for a long period of time (2 or more hours for an LCD TV).

• If the aspect ratio of the TV is set to 4:3 for a long time, image burn may occur on the letterboxed area of the screen.

1. Open the package and make sure all the accessories are included.

2. Attach the stand to the TV set.

3. Connect an external device to the TV set.

4. Make sure the network connection is available. You can use the TV network functions only when the network connection is made.

The buttons on your LG 55LM6200 are touch-sensitive and can be operated with a simple touch of your finger.

The TV also features an Intelligent sensor that adjusts the image quality and brightness based on the surrounding environment.

To prevent the TV from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation, please follow these guidelines:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the original box or packing material.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting, do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration.

• Keep the TV upright during transport; never turn the TV on its side or tilt it towards the left or right.

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

2. Attach the Stand Body to the Stand Base using the provided screws (4 EA, M4 x 20).

3. Attach the assembled stand to the back of the TV.

4. Secure the stand to the TV using the remaining screws (4 EA, M4 x 20).

5. Tighten the screws firmly to prevent the TV from tilting forward.

1. After attaching the stand, lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space between the TV and the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Adjusting the Angle:

You can swivel the TV 10±2 degrees to the left or right to adjust the angle to suit your view. Be careful not to pinch your fingers when adjusting.

Securing the TV to a Table (Depending on model):

To prevent the TV from tilting or falling, you can secure it to the table.

1. Connect the Desk-mount Cables to the Stand Base using the Bracket Screws.

2. Fix the Desk-mount Cables to the table using the Desk-mount Screws.

3. Once the TV is fixed, move the table close to the wall.

It is recommended that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer.

1. Attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV carefully.

2. Install the wall mount bracket on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor.

3. Use screws and a wall mount bracket that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries from misuse or an improper accessory are not covered by the warranty.

Securing the TV to a wall (optional anti-tip):

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV.

2. Mount the wall brackets with bolts to the wall, matching the location of the eye-bolts on the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope, keeping the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

VESA Specifications for LG 55LM6200:

1. Gather and bind the cables with the cable holder.

2. Fix the cable management clip firmly to the TV to neatly route the cables.

CAUTION: Do not move the TV by holding the cable holder, as it may break and cause injury or damage to the TV.

You can connect devices such as HD receivers, DVD players, VCRs, PCs, gaming devices, and USB storage devices to your TV.

Antenna or Cable:

Connect an antenna, cable, or cable box to the ANTENNA/CABLE IN port using a coaxial (75Ω) cable.

HDMI Connection (Recommended):

Use an HDMI cable to connect your device to any of the HDMI IN ports (1, 2, 3, or 4). This transmits digital video and audio. HDMI IN 1 supports ARC (Audio Return Channel), which can send digital audio to a compatible device without an extra optical cable.

DVI to HDMI Connection:

Use a DVI-to-HDMI cable to connect the DVI OUT port of your external device to the HDMI IN 4 (PC) port on the TV. For audio, connect a separate audio cable from the device’s AUDIO OUT to the TV’s (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port.

Component Connection:

Use a component video cable (Green, Blue, Red) and an audio cable (White, Red) to connect your device to the COMPONENT IN ports on the TV. Ensure each cable is matched to the corresponding color connection.

Composite Connection:

Use a composite video cable (Yellow) and an audio cable (White, Red) to connect your device to the AV IN ports on the TV. Ensure each cable is matched to the corresponding color.

PC Connection:

You can connect a PC using HDMI (Method A), DVI-to-HDMI (Method B), or RGB (VGA) (Method C). For best image quality, HDMI is recommended. If using RGB, also connect an audio cable to the (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port.

External Audio System:

Connect an optical audio cable from the OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port on the TV to your audio system’s optical input. When using an external audio system, set the TV speaker feature to off.

USB Connection:

Connect a USB storage device (flash memory, external hard drive) to any of the USB IN ports to access multimedia files via the Smart Share menu.

How to register the Magic Remote Control:

To register the remote control, simply press the Wheel (OK) button on the remote control while pointing it at the TV.

How to Re-register after Registration Failure:

1. Press and hold the BACK and HOME buttons together for 5 seconds to reset the remote. The light on the Pointer will blink when the reset is complete.

2. After the reset, register it again by pressing the Wheel (OK) button.

Alternatively, to re-register, you can press and hold the BACK button for 5 seconds while pointing it toward the TV.

When you turn the TV on for the first time, the Initial Setting screen appears.

1. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.

2. In Standby mode, press the power button on the remote control to turn the TV on.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize your TV settings according to your preferences:

• Language Selection: Select a language to display.

• Using the Magic remote control: Sets the Magic remote control.

• Environment Selection: Select Home for the home environment. (The Store mode is for retail display.)

• Time Zone Setting: Selects the time zone and daylight saving.

• Network Connection: Sets your network to enable network-related features.

• Auto Tuning: Scans and saves available channels automatically.

• Auto Energy Saving mode Setting: Selects Auto Energy Saving mode.

• 3D-On-Start Setting: Selects 3D-On-Start option (For 3D TV).

• Setting is completed: Confirms the setting options.

4. When the basic settings are complete, press the Wheel (OK) button.

5. To turn the TV off, press the power button on the remote control.

The User Guide allows you to more easily access detailed TV information.

1. Press the HOME button on the remote to access the HOME menu.

2. Select User Guide and press the Wheel (OK) button.

Within the User Guide:

• The main panel shows the description of the selected menu. You can use ^/∨ to move between pages.

• You can select “Try Now” to move to the selected menu directly from the User Guide.

• You can Zoom in or out of the screen for better viewing.

• You can browse the description of the function you want from the index.

Video with the following formats is switched into the 3D screen automatically. If video is not switched automatically into 3D, you may need to manually convert the settings.

3D Supported Mode Automatically

Clean your TV regularly to keep the best performance and to extend the product lifespan.

Before you begin:

• Make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables first.

Screen, frame, cabinet and stand:

• For dust or light dirt: Wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• For major dirt: Wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

CAUTION:

• Do not push, rub, or hit the surface with your fingernail or a sharp object, as this may result in scratches and image distortions.

• Do not use any chemicals, such as waxes, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticides, air fresheners, or lubricants, as these may damage the screen’s finish and cause discoloration.

• Do not spray liquid directly onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

Power cord:

Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

The Issue:

• Flat panel displays are not always supported on the proper stands or installed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

• Displays that are inappropriately situated on dressers, bookcases, shelves, desks, speakers, chests or carts may fall over and cause injury.

Tune Into Safety:

• Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for the safe installation and use of your flat panel display.

• Carefully read and understand all enclosed instructions for proper use of this product.

• Don’t allow children to climb on or play with furniture and television sets.

• Don’t place flat panel displays on furniture that can easily be used as steps, such as a chest of drawers.

• Care should be taken to place or install the display where it cannot be pushed, pulled over, or knocked down.

• Care should be taken to route all cords and cables connected to the flat panel display so that they cannot be pulled or grabbed by curious children.

Wall Mounting:

If you decide to wall mount your flat panel display, always:

• Use a mount that has been recommended by the display manufacturer and/or listed by an independent laboratory (such as UL, CSA, ETL).

• Follow all instructions supplied by the display and wall mount manufacturers.

• If you have any doubts about your ability to safely install your flat panel display, contact your retailer about professional installation.

• Make sure that the wall where you are mounting the display is appropriate. If you are unsure, contact a professional installer.

• A minimum of two people are required for installation. Flat panel displays can be heavy.
