WARNING: Anchors must be installed into structurally sound solid concrete with a minimum thickness of 4″ (101.6mm) or greater. Installation into hollow concrete block, mortar, or concrete that exhibits cracking, spalling, or other defects may result in failure of anchor and serious personal injury or damage to equipment!
1. Drill a 1/4″ diameter x 1-1/2″ deep hole at each marked cable anchor support location. Ensure the hole is at least 2-1/2″ from the nearest concrete edge. Remove debris from the hole.
2. Tap a concrete anchor (F) into each hole until the anchor head is seated in the hole.
WARNING: Failure to properly set anchor may result in failure of anchor and serious personal injury or damage to equipment!
3. Using the claw portion of a hammer, set each anchor (F) by pulling it out of the hole approximately 1/4″ (6.4mm).
4. Hang a turnbuckle (G) or connecting link (C) through the hole on each concrete anchor (F). NOTE: For larger displays where the turnbuckles may be hidden, it may be acceptable to install the turnbuckles behind the display instead of up at the ceiling. Otherwise, installing the turnbuckles at the ceiling is recommended for safety.
5. Insert the portion of the manufactured loop on the cable (J) through the hole in the turnbuckle (G) or connecting link (C). Insert the end of the cable (J) through its own loop to secure it.

How do I connect the main assembly of the LEGEND CHIEF FCS1U to the cables?
1. Use four #10-24 x 1/2″ button head cap screws (K) to secure the two outer frames (A) to the main assembly (B).
2. Use four connecting links (C) and cable locks (D) to secure the cables (J) to the two outer frames (A). The connecting links are used on the bottom, while the cable locks are used on the top to secure the loose end of the cables passing through the ceiling hardware.
NOTE: If connecting the turnbuckles (G) behind the display, connect turnbuckles into the top holes of the outer frame instead of connecting links. In this setup, two turnbuckles (G) are used on top, and two connecting links (C) are used on the bottom.
3. If using turnbuckles, tighten the two turnbuckles (G) until the cables have little to no slack in them. Use a level to make sure the mount is level.
How do I prepare and install the vertical mounting brackets onto my display for the LEGEND CHIEF FCS1U?
WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO MOUNT FALLING CAUSING SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT substitute hardware. Only use hardware provided or specified by manufacturer.
1. Make sure the height on the main assembly is at the lowest possible position.
2. Make sure the latching flags on the main assembly are in the “open” position.
3. Determine and mark the vertical center position between the Left side Upper and Lower mounting holes in your display.
4. Determine and mark the vertical center position between the Right side Upper and Lower mounting holes in your display.
5. Orient a vertical mounting bracket (MR) so that its mounting holes are on top and mounting slots are on the bottom.
