It is recommended that appliances be placed upon a dedicated circuit; that is, a single outlet circuit which powers only that appliance and has no additional outlets or branch circuits. Do not connect too many appliances to the same AC power outlet as this could result in fire or electric shock. Do not overload wall outlets. Overloaded, loose or damaged wall outlets, extension cords, frayed power cords, or damaged or cracked wire insulation are dangerous and could result in electric shock or fire.

To clean your LG 32LM6200 regularly for the best performance and to extend its lifespan, follow these steps:

1. Make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables first.

2. When the TV is left unattended for a long time, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.

Screen, frame, cabinet and stand:

• To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

CAUTION:

• Do not push, rub, or hit the surface with your fingernail or a sharp object, as this may result in scratches and image distortions.

• Do not use any chemicals such as waxes, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticides, air fresheners, or lubricants, as these may damage the screen’s finish and cause discoloration.

• Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

Power cord:

• Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

To prevent image burn-in on your LG 32LM6200 screen, follow these guidelines:

• If a fixed image is displayed on the screen for a long period, it can become imprinted and lead to a permanent disfigurement known as “image burn” or “burn-in.” This is not covered by the warranty.

• Avoid displaying a fixed image on the TV screen for a long period of time (2 or more hours for an LCD).

• If the aspect ratio of the TV is set to 4:3 for a long time, image burn may occur on the letterboxed area of the screen.

Viewing Environment:

• Viewing Time: When watching 3D content, take a 5-15 minute break every hour. Viewing 3D for a long period may cause headaches, dizziness, fatigue, or eye strain.

• Viewing Distance: Maintain a distance of at least twice the screen diagonal length when watching 3D content. If you feel discomfort, move further away from the TV.

Viewing Age:

• Infants / Children: Viewing 3D content for children under the age of 5 is prohibited. Children under 10 may overreact, and special monitoring is required. Children perceive more stereoscopic depth than adults.

• Teenagers: Teenagers under 19 may be stimulated by light from 3D videos. Advise them not to watch 3D videos for a long time when tired.

• Elderly: The elderly may perceive less of a 3D effect. Do not sit closer than the recommended distance.

Photosensitive Seizure or Chronic Illness:

• Some users may experience a seizure or other abnormal symptoms when exposed to flashing lights or patterns from 3D content.

• Do not watch 3D videos if you feel nausea, are pregnant, or have a chronic illness such as epilepsy, cardiac disorder, or blood pressure disease.

• 3D content is not recommended for those with stereo blindness or stereo anomaly.

• If you have strabismus (cross-eyed), amblyopia (weak eyesight), or astigmatism, you may have trouble sensing depth and feel fatigue easily. Take frequent breaks.

• If your eyesight varies between your right and left eye, revise your eyesight prior to watching 3D content.

Symptoms requiring discontinuation of 3D viewing:

• Do not watch 3D content when you feel fatigued from lack of sleep, overwork, or drinking.

• If you experience symptoms like headache, eyeball pain, dizziness, nausea, palpitation, blurriness, discomfort, double image, or visual inconvenience, stop watching 3D content and rest until the symptom subsides. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.

• Make sure to use LG 3D glasses. Otherwise, you may not be able to view 3D videos properly.

• Do not use 3D glasses in place of your normal glasses, sunglasses, or protective goggles.

• Using modified 3D glasses may cause eye strain or image distortion.

• Do not keep your 3D glasses in extremely high or low temperatures, as it will cause deformation.

• The 3D glasses are fragile and easy to scratch. Always use a soft, clean cloth when wiping the lenses. Do not scratch the lenses with sharp objects or clean them with chemicals.

When moving or lifting the LG 32LM6200, read the following to prevent it from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in its original box or packing material.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• When transporting by hand, hold the TV by the top and bottom of the frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting, do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration.

• Keep the TV upright; never turn it on its side or tilt it to the left or right.

To attach the stand to your LG 32LM6200, follow these general steps based on the manual’s illustrations:

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

2. Align the Stand Body with the Stand Base and secure them together.

3. Attach the assembled stand to the back of the TV set.

4. Use the provided screws (e.g., M4 x 20) to secure the stand to the TV. There are typically four screws for the Stand Body to the TV and four screws for the Stand Base to the Stand Body.

5. Tighten the screws firmly to prevent the TV from tilting forward.

Mounting on a table:

1. After attaching the stand, lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (4 inches) minimum space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Adjusting the angle:

You can swivel the TV 10±2 degrees to the left or right to adjust the angle to suit your view. Be careful with your fingers when adjusting the angle to avoid injury.

Securing the TV to a table (Depending on model):

To prevent the TV from tilting forward, damage, and potential injury:

1. Connect the Desk-mount Cables to the Stand Base using the Bracket Screws.

2. Fix the Desk-mount Cables to a table using the Desk-mount Screws.

3. Once the TV is fixed, move the table close to the wall.

To mount your LG 32LM6200 on a wall, LG recommends the procedure be performed by a qualified professional installer. You will need an optional wall mount bracket that meets the VESA standard.

General Steps:

1. Carefully attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV.

2. Install the wall mount bracket on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor.

3. If attaching the TV to other building materials, contact qualified personnel.

Securing the TV to a wall (optional method to prevent falls):

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If bolts are already in the eye-bolt position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure the rope is horizontal with the flat surface.

VESA Specifications for 32LM6200:

CAUTION:

• Disconnect the power first before moving or installing the TV.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Do not over-tighten screws.

To tidy the cables on your LG 32LM6200:

1. Gather and bind the cables with the provided cable holder.

2. Fix the cable management clip firmly to the TV to route the cables neatly.

CAUTION: Do not move the TV by holding the cable holder, as it may break and cause injuries or damage to the TV.

Connect an antenna, cable, or cable box to watch TV by connecting a coaxial (75 Ω) RF cable from the wall jack or antenna to the ANTENNA / CABLE IN port on the back of your LG 32LM6200. Make sure not to bend the copper wire of the RF cable. Complete all connections between devices before connecting the power cord to the power outlet.

HDMI is the best way to connect a device. It transmits digital video and audio signals from an external device to the TV.

1. Choose any available HDMI IN port on your LG 32LM6200.

2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port of your external device (e.g., DVD/Blu-Ray player, HD Cable Box).

3. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the selected HDMI IN port on the TV.

For best results, use a High Speed HDMI™ Cable. If you wish to use ARC (Audio Return Channel) to send TV audio back to an ARC-compatible audio device, you must connect it to the port labeled HDMI IN 1 (ARC).

You can connect a PC to your LG 32LM6200 using one of the following methods. It is recommended to use the HDMI connection for the best image quality.

Method A: HDMI Connection

Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI output on your PC to any HDMI IN port on the TV. It is recommended to use HDMI IN 4 for a DVI-to-HDMI connection.

Method B: DVI to HDMI Connection

1. Connect a DVI-to-HDMI cable from the DVI OUT port on your PC to the HDMI IN 4 (PC) port on the TV.

2. Connect a separate audio cable from the audio out port on your PC to the (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port on the TV.

Method C: RGB Connection

1. Connect an RGB (VGA) cable from the RGB OUT (PC) port on your PC to the RGB IN (PC) port on the TV.

2. Connect a separate audio cable from the audio out port on your PC to the (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port on the TV.

Connect a USB storage device such as a USB flash memory, external hard drive, or USB memory card reader to any of the USB IN ports on the TV. You can then access the Smart Share menu to use various multimedia files.

• To store apps on a USB storage device, connect it to the USB IN 3 USB Apps port.

• To use a USB Hub, connect it to the USB IN 2 USB Hub port.

• If a USB device connected via a USB Hub is not detected, connect it directly to a USB port on the TV.

How to register the Magic Remote Control:

To register the remote control, press the Wheel (OK) button on the remote control while pointing it at the TV.

How to Re-register after a failure:

1. Press and hold the BACK and HOME buttons together for 5 seconds to reset the remote. The light on the Pointer will blink when the reset is complete.

2. Register it again by pressing the Wheel (OK) button.

How to use the Magic Remote Control:

• Aim the Pointer Receiver of the remote control at your TV and move it left, right, up, or down to move the on-screen pointer.

• If the pointer disappears, move the remote control slightly to the left or right, and it will automatically reappear.

• If the pointer does not work properly, leave the remote control for 10 seconds, then try again.

Precautions:

• Use the remote control within the maximum communication distance of 10 m (32.8 ft).

• Electrical devices like a microwave oven or wireless LAN product may cause interference.

• It is recommended that a wireless Access Point (AP) be located more than 1 m (3.28 ft) away from the TV.

When you turn the TV on for the first time, the Initial setting screen appears. Follow these steps:

1. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.

2. In Standby mode, press the power button on the remote control to turn the TV on.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize your TV settings:

• Language Selection: Select a display language.

• Using the Magic remote control: Sets up the Magic remote control.

• Environment Selection: Select Home for the home environment. (The Store option puts the TV in demo mode).

• Time Zone Setting: Select your time zone and daylight saving option.

• Network Connection: Sets up your network to enable network-related features.

• Auto Tuning: Scans and saves available channels automatically.

• Auto Energy Saving mode Setting: Selects the Auto Energy Saving mode.

• 3D-On-Start Setting: Selects the 3D-On-Start option (For 3D TV).

• Setting is completed: Confirms the setting options.

4. When the basic settings are complete, press the Wheel (OK) button.

The User Guide allows you to more easily access detailed TV information. To access it:

1. Press the HOME button to access the HOME menu.

2. Select User Guide and press the Wheel (OK) button.

Once in the User Guide, you can:

• View descriptions of selected menus.

• Move directly to a menu from the guide.

• Zoom in or out of the screen.

• Browse the description of a function you want from the index.

Your LG 32LM6200 qualifies for ENERGY STAR in the “factory default (Home Use)” setting. Changing the factory default settings or enabling other features may increase power consumption that could exceed the limits necessary to qualify for ENERGY STAR.
