10. Tighten the connection place with keys so that the pipes are in the proper position.

11. Attach the C coupling to the main gas source using a hard copper pipe or flexible steel pipe.

12. WARNING: Final check whether any leakage exists at the pipes with a soap solution, and do not ever use flame.

How do I adjust the hob for different gas types?

These instructions are for specialist personnel. All gas-related works must be conducted with the electric connection cut.

1. To convert the hob, remove the burner plates and flame circles. Replace the injectors with those of suitable diameters as defined in the user’s manual.

2. To access the valve setting screw, remove the hob switches and rubber seals. Use a plain tip screwdriver.

3. To set the low flame level, turn the gas setting screw on the valve to achieve the minimum gas setting flow. Do this after installing the burner components, lighting the burner, and bringing the switch setting to minimum.

4. The flow setting screw should be tightened for LPG conversions and released for conversion from LPG to natural gas.

5. After conversion, complete the process by reconnecting the rubber seals and switches in the same order.

How do I light the burners?

For all models:

• Ensure the grills and burner components are properly positioned. The flame should be blue and burn quietly. If the flame is yellow or noisy, check that all burners fit properly. If the flame color does not change to blue, apply to the authorized service.

Firing of Burner (Manual Ignition):

• If your hob does not have a built-in lighter or during a blackout, place a naked flame (like a match) over the burner.

• Push the switch and bring it to the desired position with a counter-clockwise movement.

• Gas adjustment should be between maximum and minimum levels. To close the burner, turn the switch clockwise until it reaches the “off” position.

Models Equipped with Lighter Switch (Automatic Ignition):

• To ignite a burner, press the switch down and bring it to the maximum position.

• When it burns, adjust the flame to the desired intensity with the switch.

Flame Failure Device (FFD):

• If the flame goes out when you release the switch, repeat the process but this time press and hold the switch for about 10 seconds.

WARNING: Do not use the burning system for more than 15 seconds. If the burner does not ignite within this time or if the flame is cut for any reason, repeat the burning process after waiting for 1 minute.

Closing the burners:

• Turn the control switch right-wise (clockwise) to close the hob.

How do I operate the electric hot-plate burner?

Warnings:

• Before first use, the plate should be elevated to the maximum level and rested for 5 minutes without any container on it. It is normal for some smell or smoke to rise; this will disappear after normal use.

• After the first use, do not operate the electrical plate without a container on it.

• Use containers with thick bottoms suitable for the plate size. Never use smaller sole containers.

• Do not place any liquid or wet containers on the plate.

• Avoid contact with vinegar, salt, lemon juice, etc., on the plate.

• Do not use spatulas or similar sharp objects for cleaning.

Basic Settings:

The electrical plate is managed with a power control switch. You can select the proper power for the food you will cook. The switch positions are typically:

0: Off

1: Low

2: Medium

3: High

Turning on the Plate: Bring the control switch to the proper position by turning it right or left according to the cooking type and food quantity. The red warning light will be on when the switch is set to any value other than the off position.

To close the plate: Bring the control switch to the 0 position. The warning light will go off.

What are the recommended pan diameters for each burner?

To use the hob efficiently, the pan diameter and burner power should match. The proper diameters for each burner are given in the table below:

Semi Rapid Burner (SR) 14 20
Rapid Burner (R) 18 24
Triple Burner 22 26
Hot Plate Burner 14 16

What are the recommendations for using pans and grills?

• The pan grills on the hob are designed for safe use. Make sure the grills are placed properly and their legs fit well.

• Do not use pans with deformed soles which may cause instability on the grills.

• Do not cook with pans without a lid or with semi-closed lids to avoid energy loss.

• Do not place containers directly on the burner covers; use the grill always.

• Place the cooking pan on the burner evenly. Inappropriately placed containers may be tipped.

• Do not place large containers at the side of the switch, as they may be damaged.

• Do not heat empty pans. The pan sole may be deformed and the heat may damage the burner table surface.

• Cold liquids should not be thrown on the glass surface or burners when the surface is hot.

• Do not place sharp objects on the hob.

• Do not use pans that transfer excessive heat to the bottom surface directly.

• Use flat sole pans on the hob. This allows thermal energy to be used to the maximum. Concave pans are not recommended.

• Use pans with proper diameters. Do not use smaller pans than the diameter of the burner, as this can cause overflowing and reduce efficiency.

• Use dry sole pans on the burner. Do not place the cover of the pan, especially wet ones, on the burner.

How should I maintain and clean the gas hob?

Before cleaning and maintenance, please comply with the following rules:

1. Close the unit for safety purposes. If your device is set to natural gas, close the valve. For LPG hobs, close the hood valve.
