All parts listed herein may be ordered through Sears, Roebuck and Co. or Simpsons-Sears Limited. When ordering parts by mail from the mail order house which serves the territory in which you live, selling prices will be furnished on request or parts will be shipped at prevailing prices and you will be billed accordingly.

When ordering repair parts, always give the following information as shown in this list:

1. The PART NUMBER.

2. The PART NAME.

3. The MODEL NUMBER.

4. The NAME of IMPLEMENT.

Each Slow Speed Pulley is given a thorough inspection before shipment, however, it is very important that it be checked at the time of receipt, to ascertain if any loss or damage has occurred in transit. Your shipment consists of the following bundle:

One Carton, Bundle No. 676X2984, Slow Speed Pulley for David Bradley Garden Tractor.

Remove parts from carton. Lay parts out on a clean floor for readiness of assembly.

1. Loosen 2-7/16″ x 1-1/4″ cap screws in spindle and pivot on tractor, slide changer sheave down and remove engine to change belt (629H).

2. Bolt slow speed sheave to changer sheave with recessed hub to changer sheaves. Use 5/16″ x 3/4″ cap screws and lock washers provided. Tighten securely.

3. Move speed control handle back to the slow speed position and disconnect or remove push rod from shaft arm.

4. Install new 570H belt on slow speed sheave and 3rd. groove of engine pulley.

5. Use a punch or similar tool to pry up spindle to tighten “V” belts. Tighten two 7/16″ x 1-1/4″ cap screws loosened in step one.

NOTE: Belts should be tightened just enough to prevent slipping.
