How do I assemble the KLEIN TOOLS BC515C Rail Hot Stick Holder?
The KLEIN TOOLS BC515C Rail Hot Stick Holder connects the corners of two Bucket Work Center wall panels.
NOTE: The KLEIN TOOLS BC515C ships with a Removable Spacer (6) preinstalled, intended for use with shorter 8′ (2.4m) hot sticks. If using with a longer 12′ (3.6m) hot stick, remove the Removable Spacer (6) prior to installation.
1. If installing the BC515C into an existing Bucket Work Center wall system, use a pair of Klein Tools lineman’s pliers to loosen the wall panel set screws on both adjacent wall panels, to assist in maneuvering the BC515C into place. If installing with a new set of wall panels, proceed to step 2.
2. Align the top of the Hot Stick Holder with one of the wall panels, then align the Alignment Tabs (8) with the gaps between the rails on the back side of the wall panel.
3. Using a rotating motion, slide the Alignment Tabs (8) into the gaps, until the Latching Tab (7) locks into place with the wall panel. You may have to lift up on the back edge of the Hot Stick Holder to assist the Latching Tab (7) in engaging.
4. Insert one of the Rail Alignment Pins (2) through the hole in the wall panel, into the Alignment Pin Hole (3) until the pin snaps fully into place. If necessary, lightly tap on the head of the pin to assist in engaging.
5. Align the remaining Alignment tabs (8) with the gaps between the rails on the back side of the second wall panel.
6. Lifting slightly on the back edge of the Hot Stick Holder, slide the wall panel toward the Hot Stick Holder, ensuring the Alignment Tabs (8) are properly aligned with the gaps between the rails on the back side of the wall panel, until the Latching Tab (7) engages with the wall panel.
7. Insert the second Rail Alignment Pin (2) through the hole in the wall panel, into the Alignment Pin Hole (3) until the pin fully snaps into place. If necessary, lightly tap on the head of the pin to assist in engaging.
