The KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP is a universal vacuum cleaner intended for dry cleaning of floor and wall surfaces. It is suitable for commercial use in locations such as hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offices, and rental companies.
WARNING: Do not use the device for vacuuming up dusts that are harmful to health.
ATTENTION: To prevent short-circuits due to high humidity, only use and store the device indoors.
How do I install the accessories on my KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP?
Accessory installation depends on the model of your KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP.
For LVS 1/1 Bp:
1. Install the floor nozzle tube and floor nozzle head together in the direction shown in the illustration.
2. Push the floor nozzle onto the end of the suction tube until it is tight, and push the other end of the suction tube onto the main body.
3. To install the crevice nozzle holder, place it on the suction tube as shown in the illustration. The crevice nozzle can be stored in the holder.
4. Push an accessory, such as the crevice nozzle, onto the suction fitting of the dust container or suction pipe until it is tight.
For LVS 1/2 Bp:
1. Push the suction pipe onto the suction fitting of the main body until it audibly clicks into place.
2. Push the floor nozzle onto the suction pipe until it audibly clicks into place.
3. To remove, press the unlocking button and remove the suction pipe or floor nozzle.
4. Push the crevice nozzle onto the suction fitting of the dust container or suction pipe until it audibly clicks into place.
The floor nozzle is ideal for hard floors and carpet. The crevice nozzle is for edges, joints, heaters, and areas that are difficult to reach.
How do I insert and charge the battery pack on the KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP?
Inserting the battery pack:
Slide the battery pack into the battery holder and lock it in place.
Charging the battery pack:
Note: The battery pack is partially charged on delivery. Charge it before use and when necessary. The battery pack can only be charged when it is removed.
1. Press the unlocking button and remove the battery pack.
2. Charge the battery pack according to the operating instructions of the charger manufacturer and the battery pack manufacturer.
How do I operate the KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP vacuum cleaner?
Switching the device on/off:
1. Press the on/off button, and the device will start up.
2. Press the on/off button again, and the device will stop.
Mode adjustment:
The KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP has 3-mode options for power and run time management. You can change the suction power in three steps by pressing the mode button. Each press on this button repeats the Eco / Standard / Power mode in a cycle. The selected mode before the last shutdown remains stored and is reactivated when the device is switched on again.

How do I empty the dust cup on the KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP?
To ensure optimum suction performance, empty the dust container before it exceeds the “Max” line.
1. Switch off the device. Press the On/Off switch again to turn the device off.
2. Pointing the floor nozzle downwards, pull the dust container apart from the main body by holding the dust container firmly and pressing the release buttons on both sides.
3. Empty the dust container.
4. Reinsert the dust container.
How do I store my KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP?
On the wall:
ATTENTION: Install the wall mount on a sturdy wall, beam, or column to ensure a secure attachment. Always double-check that the wall mount is firmly and securely attached before hanging the device.
1. Choose the desired location on the wall and mark the positions for the two mounting holes. Ensure the distance between the holes is 60 mm.
– For LVS 1/1, the suggested height for the mounting holes is 700 mm.
– For LVS 1/2, the suggested height for the mounting holes is 690–755 mm.
2. Drill two holes at the marked positions and insert the dowels.
3. Position the wall mount and securely fasten it using screws.
4. Press the unlocking button and remove the battery pack to prevent discharge.
5. Push the device into the bracket and secure it against unauthorized use.
On the Flexomate trolley:
The LVS vacuum cleaners can be stored on the Flexomate trolley for easy transportation.
1. Insert the FlexoLink connection into the Flexomate adapter.
2. Securely rotate the Flexomate adapter to lock it onto the trolley. Ensure the surface marked with “UP” is facing upward.
3. Push the device into the Flexomate adapter.
How do I clean the filtration system of my KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP?
Cleaning the cyclone:
1. Press the filtration release button with one hand, and pull the filtration system out with the other hand.
2. Clean the adhered dust off the mesh metal filter.
Cleaning / Replacing the filter:
1. Pull out the filtration system.
2. Take out the HEPA filter and the sponge filter.
3. Clean the filter element by gently knocking it, or replace if necessary.
4. Rinse the sponge filter under running water and dry it completely, or replace it.
5. Install the sponge filter and HEPA filter into the filtration system.
6. With the arrow facing upward, push the filtration system into the main body until it audibly clicks into place.
ATTENTION: Carefully clean the filters by gently knocking the dirt out. Do not expose the filter area to any mechanical loads and replace the filters if damaged. Do not operate the device without the complete filter elements.
What should I do if my KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP does not work or has detected an error?
The device is not working:
• Battery is empty: Charge the rechargeable battery.
• Battery is not inserted correctly: Push the battery into the mount until it locks into place.
• Battery is defective: Replace the battery.
Error detected (The LED strip flashes orange, the device does not start up):
This indicates the filtration system is not installed properly.
1. Check whether the HEPA filter and filtration system are in the right position.
2. Install the HEPA filter into the filtration system.
3. With the arrow facing upward, push the filtration system into the main body until it audibly clicks into place.
How do I clear a blockage or fix an unsatisfactory vacuuming result on my KARCHER LVL 1-2 BP?
Blockage:
1. Floor nozzle blockage:
– LVS 1/1: Disassemble the floor nozzle and clean the blockage.
– LVS 1/2: Disassemble the roller by sliding the unlock button. Clean the roller and remove any blockage in the floor nozzle with a suitable aid.
2. Suction tube blockage: Disassemble the suction tube and remove the blockage.
3. The dust container is full: Empty the dust container.
4. The filters are soiled: Clean the cyclone, HEPA, and sponge filter by referring to the “Cleaning the filtration system” section.
Unsatisfactory vacuuming result:
1. Remove blockages from the brush head and suction tube.
2. Clean the cyclone or replace the motor protection filter or HEPA filter.
