3. Remove the drip tray.
4. Place a receptacle (approx. 1 litre) under the coffee spout.
5. Press the maintenance key.
6. When the display shows “FILL TABLET,” open the funnel cover for pre-ground coffee powder.
7. Drop in a JURA cleaning tablet and close the cover.
8. Press the maintenance key.
9. When the display shows “EMPTY TRAY,” empty the drip and grounds tray and place them back into the machine.
10. Wipe out the filler funnel for ground coffee with a dry cloth after the cleaning program has finished.

The filter cartridge should be changed after using 50 litres of water or after two months at the latest. Proceed as follows when the display shows “READY / FILTER”:

4. Carefully remove the Professional Cappuccino Frother.

6. Completely dissolve the contents of a blister (3 tablets) in 0.5 litres of water.
7. Pour the solution into the empty water tank.
8. Place the water tank back into the machine.
9. Place a receptacle (at least 0.5 litre) under the spout.
10. Turn the tap to the indicated position. The display will show “DE-SCALING.”
11. Turn the tap back to the initial position when the display prompts you to do so.
12. When the display shows “EMPTY TRAY,” empty the drip tray and reinsert it.
13. Rinse the water tank well, fill it with cold, fresh tap water, and place it back into the machine.
14. When the display shows “OPEN TAP,” place a receptacle under the spout.
