1. Press the power switch (I) located on the rear.

2. Fill the bean tank.

3. Press the ON / OFF key.

4. When the display text reads “LANGUAGE ENGLISH”, turn the Rotary Switch until the required language is displayed and confirm by pressing the Rotary Switch.

5. Lift out the water tank, fill it, and place it back into the machine.

6. When the display text reads “OPEN TAP”, place a receptacle under the Professional Cappuccino Frother.

7. Turn the tap to the indicated position.

8. Turn it back to the initial position when the display prompts you to do so.

9. When the display text reads “PRESS RINSE”, place a receptacle under the height-adjustable coffee spout.

10. Press the maintenance key when the display prompts you to do so.

The machine is then ready for use.

1. Remove the water tank and empty it.

2. Flip up the cartridge holder.

3. Insert the filter cartridge into the water tank, applying slight pressure.

4. Close the cartridge holder until it engages audibly.

5. Fill the water tank and insert it.

6. Hold the programming key P down until the display shows “FILTER”.

7. Confirm the setting by pressing the Rotary Switch.

8. Turn the Rotary Switch until the display shows “YES”.

The cleaning program takes approximately 15 minutes. Follow these instructions:

1. When the display text reads “READY CLEAN”, press the maintenance key down until the display shows “EMPTY TRAY”.

2. Empty the drip and grounds tray and place them back into the machine.

3. Remove the drip tray and place a receptacle (approx. 1 litre) under the coffee spout.

4. Press the maintenance key.

5. When the display text reads “FILL TABLET”, open the funnel cover for pre-ground coffee powder.

6. Drop in a JURA cleaning tablet and close the cover.

7. Press the maintenance key.

8. When the display text reads “EMPTY TRAY”, empty the drip and grounds tray and place them back into the machine.

9. Wipe out the filler funnel for ground coffee with a dry cloth after the cleaning program has finished.


How do I change the filter on the JURA IMPRESSA F50?

After having used 50 litres of water or after two months at the latest, the filter cartridge will be used up. Follow these steps:

1. When the display reads “READY / FILTER”, switch the machine off using the ON / OFF key.

2. Press the maintenance key until the display shows “CHG FILTER OPEN TAP”.

3. Remove and empty the water tank.

4. Flip up the cartridge holder.

5. Remove the old CLARIS plus filter cartridge from the tank.

6. Place the new filter cartridge into the water tank, applying slight pressure.

7. Close the cartridge holder until it engages audibly.

8. Fill the water tank and place it back into the machine.

9. Place a receptacle (at least 0.5 litre) under the Professional Cappuccino Frother.

10. Turn the tap to the open position.

11. Turn it back to the initial position when the display prompts you to do so.


How do I decalcify the JURA IMPRESSA F50?

The decalcifying process takes approximately 40 minutes. Follow these instructions:

1. When the display reads “DECALCIFY”, switch the machine off using the ON / OFF key.

2. Hold the maintenance key down until the display shows “EMPTY TRAY”.

3. Empty the drip and grounds tray and place them back into the machine.

4. Carefully remove the Professional Cappuccino Frother.

5. When the display reads “AGENT IN TANK”, remove the water tank and empty it.

6. Completely dissolve the contents of a blister (3 tablets) in 0.5 litres of water.

7. Pour the solution into the empty water tank and place the tank back into the machine.

8. Place a receptacle (at least 0.5 litre) under the spout.

9. Turn the tap to the open position.

10. When the display reads “DE-SCALING”, turn the tap back to the initial position when the display prompts you to do so.

11. When the display reads “EMPTY TRAY”, empty the drip tray and reinsert it.

12. Rinse the water tank well, fill with cold, fresh tap water, and place it back into the machine.

13. When the display reads “OPEN TAP”, place a receptacle under the spout.

14. Turn the tap to the open position.

15. Turn it back to the initial position when the display prompts you to do so.

16. When the display reads “EMPTY TRAY”, empty the drip tray and reinsert it.

17. Reassemble the Professional Cappuccino Frother.

18. Shift the receptacle under the height-adjustable coffee spout.

19. Press the maintenance key.

How do I clean the Professional Cappuccino Frother on the JURA IMPRESSA F50?

To ensure perfect function, the Professional Cappuccino Frother should be cleaned regularly:

1. Place a receptacle under the Professional Cappuccino Frother.

2. Fill a second receptacle with 2.5 dl of fresh water and add a capful of Auto-Cappuccino Cleaner.

3. Dip the milk pipe into the second receptacle with the Auto-Cappuccino Cleaner.

4. Draw steam until the receptacle with the Auto-Cappuccino Cleaner is empty.

5. Fill the receptacle with 2.5 dl of fresh water.

6. Dip the milk pipe into the receptacle with the fresh water.

7. Draw steam until the receptacle with the fresh water is empty to complete the cleaning.
