1. Place pivot plate brackets in vise and, using self-tapping screw thread holes in brackets, position pivot plate brackets inside hitch plate.

2. Position lift stop plate outside of hitch plate with swivel offset to left side of hitch plate.

3. Fasten with 3/8 x 1-1/4-inch self-tapping screws. Do not fully tighten until adjusting screw is installed.

4. Install 3/8 x 5-inch adjusting screw into pivot plate swivel and turn into threaded swivel on lift stop plate.

5. After aligning pivot plate and lift stop plate to allow adjusting screw to turn freely, tighten self-tapping screws.

6. Turn 3/8-inch nut on adjusting screw. Turn handwheel on adjusting screw and tighten nut against handwheel.

7. Install slotted end of lift link to tractor lift arm with 3/8 x 1-1/4-inch drilled pin and 1/8 x 3/4-inch cotter pin. Use flat washers on each side of lift link.

8. Connect lift link to pivot plate with 3/8 x 1-1/4-inch drilled pin and 1/8 x 3/4-inch cotter pin. Install drilled pin with head toward left-hand side of tractor to avoid interference with helper spring bracket if helper spring is installed.
