The Wavo Mobile microphone set typically includes:

– The microphone unit.

– A shock mount with a cold shoe base.

– A furry windscreen.

– A cable for connecting to smartphones (TRRS connector).

– A cable for connecting to cameras (TRS connector).

1. Ensure the microphone is assembled with its shock mount and windscreen (if needed).

2. Identify the smartphone cable (TRRS connector, often indicated by an icon of a smartphone).

3. Plug the angled end of the smartphone cable into the back of the Wavo Mobile microphone.

4. Plug the straight end of the smartphone cable into the headphone jack of your smartphone.

1. Slide the cold shoe base located at the bottom of the Wavo Mobile’s shock mount into your camera’s hot shoe or cold shoe mount.

2. Tighten the locking wheel on the microphone’s cold shoe base by turning it clockwise until the microphone is securely fastened to the camera.

3. Plug the angled end of the camera cable into the back of the Wavo Mobile microphone.

The furry windscreen should be slid over the microphone when recording outdoors or in windy conditions to reduce wind noise. For indoor use where wind is not a factor, the windscreen may not be necessary.

In accordance with Article 10 of Directive 2012/19/UE concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), this equipment must NOT be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. It must be collected separately. This applies to all components and any recharge or refill elements. Contact Vitec Imaging Solutions or an authorized member of the National Registers in EU countries for information on suitable waste collection systems. Household (or similar) waste may be disposed of via standard municipal differentiated waste collection schemes. If you purchase a new version or similar equipment, or if your existing equipment measures less than 25 cm, you may return the items you no longer require to your retailer for proper collection and management. Correct separate collection and specific treatment are necessary to avoid potential damage to human health and the environment, and favour recycling and recovery. Improper or illegal disposal may result in punishments or fines.

JOBY products are warranted to be fit for the purpose for which they have been designed, and to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee does not cover the product against subsequent damage or misuse. The period of validity of the Standard Limited Warranty is defined by the law in force in the country, state, or region where the product is sold. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase to repair your product under warranty.
