The in-box accessories for the JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 are:

Before setting up the JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801, ensure your AirFiber Home Router has internet connectivity and its LED is Green Stable. The required accessories are the JioExtender unit and Power Adapter.

Step 1: Login into the JioHome app with the Registered Mobile Number used during registration of the AirFiber Home Router connection.

Step 2: In the JioHome app Homepage, tap on the + icon on the top of the screen.

Step 3: In the “Add Device” Screen, Select WiFi Network devices.

Step 4: Scan the QR code of the JioExtender Unit on the Device label which is present on the backside of the device.

Step 5: Connect the JioExtender power adapter to the DC Power jack of your JioExtender and then plug the power adapter into an electrical wall outlet. This will power on the JioExtender automatically. Follow the instruction given on the JioHome app screen and click on “Next”.

Step 6: The JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 will start pairing with the AirFiber Home Router Device. During pairing, the Status LED on the JioExtender will be Blue Blinking. Once the pairing is successful, the Status LED on the JioExtender turns Solid Green. This may take around 5 minutes.

Step 7: Verify the Extender connectivity status on the Home Router Status screen of the JioHome app and check that the Extender is Online.

Step 8: Once pairing is successful, the JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 can be placed at the desired location to extend Wi-Fi coverage. Once Powered ON in the desired location, ensure the Status LED is Solid Green. If not, the JioExtender should be repositioned so that the status LED is solid green.

1. Place the JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 on a table about three to four feet in height from the ground. Do not place it in corners.

2. Do not place the JioExtender close to the floor, too high up, very close to the home ceiling or under low roof conditions.

3. Do not place the JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 in cabinets, closed areas, and crammed places along with other wireless or electrical devices.

4. Avoid placing the JioExtender in between corridors connecting living rooms and bedrooms.

5. Try to maintain line of sight between the AirFiber Home Router and the JioExtender or minimize obstacles between them.

6. Don’t put the JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 beside any metal objects, such as home appliances, metal doors, etc.

7. The JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 has LED indicators to assist your placement decision. Please ensure the LED indicator is always Green.

The rear panel interfaces from left to right are:

RESET: Factory Reset button. Press for more than 15 seconds to reset all configurations to factory default settings.

Power Supply: 12V DC Power Input Jack.

LAN/WAN: 10/100/1000Mbps LAN/WAN Port.

LAN: 4 x 10/100/1000Mbps LAN Port.

USB Port: This port is optional and reserved for future use.

You can set up and manage your home Wi-Fi by using the JioHome App. The JioHome App helps in setting up your JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 device. You can search on Google Play or the iOS App Store to download the JioHome app.

Wi-Fi Device:

The JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 unit’s Wi-Fi settings will be synchronized with the AirFiber Home Router. To connect your device to the Wi-Fi of the JioExtender, configure it with the Wi-Fi network name (ssid) and wireless key of your AirFiber Wi-Fi network.

Ethernet Device:

You can use the JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801’s LAN port to connect an Ethernet device (for example, a set-top box, a NAS drive or computer) to your home network.

1. This equipment is a Class III electrical appliance which is designed to be supplied from a separated/safety extra-low voltage (SELV) power adapter.

2. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this device to rain or moisture. The device shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on the apparatus.

3. Correct Disposal of this product. This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.

4. Use the power supply adapter provided in the JioExtender package only. Using another adapter may cause damage to the equipment or result in operational failures.

5. The electrical load capacity of the socket and cables should meet the device’s requirement. Power socket overload, broken cables or broken plugs may cause electric shock or fire. Check the power supply wires and cables regularly. If any of these appear damaged, replace it immediately by calling Jio Care.

6. Install the JIO JIOEXTENDER JE6801 in a well-ventilated environment. Avoid areas with high temperature or direct sunlight to protect the device and its components from overheating.
