When riding your INVANTI TIDE 1 EB04, you must obey the following traffic regulations and traffic safety rules:

• Persons under the age of 16 are prohibited to ride the E-bike on the road.

• Ride the E-bike in the non-motorized vehicle lane, with a maximum velocity not exceeding 15km/h.

• Ride the E-bike on the right side of the roadway in case of no non-motorized vehicle lane.

• Do not lend the E-bike to persons who cannot ride to avoid injury.

• Carrying people or items with the E-bike should be in accordance with laws and regulations.

• It is recommended to wear a helmet when riding and pay attention to traffic safety. It is strictly forbidden to hold the handlebar with one hand or ride with both hands away from the handlebar.

• Pay attention to slowing down when riding in rain or snow, because the braking distance will be extended. Try to avoid riding in severe weather, such as heavy rain.

• Do not park the E-bike in a building foyer, evacuation stair, walkway, or safety exit.

• Do not charge and park the E-bike in residential buildings. Keep away from combustibles when charging, and the charging time shall not be too long.

• Use and maintain the battery correctly. Used batteries shall not be dismantled without authorization and shall be recycled by the relevant professional department.

• Understand the safe use of the charger and warning terms.

• Replace the charger with those matching the storage battery model.

• Do not rinse it with water to avoid the hidden danger of accidents caused by the soaking of internal electronic components and circuits.

• When adjusting the handlebar or seat, be careful not to expose the safety line marking of the handlebar stand tube and saddle tube (where applicable).

• The A-weighted emission sound pressure level at the driver’s ears is less than 70dB(A).

• For your safety, do not tamper with other parts of the electric bicycle except the sprocket and non-original parts. If any parts are damaged, the best way is to contact the local dealer for after-sales service.

Do not use the E-bike in off-road or other extreme sports scenes since it is not professional equipment for off-road and extreme sports.

Before each ride on your INVANTI TIDE 1 EB04, please perform the following checks:

• Check whether the power circuit and lighting are in good condition.

• Check whether the front and rear brakes work normally.

• Check whether the handlebar and front and rear wheels are fastened firmly.

• Check whether the tire pressure is normal.

• Check whether the reflectors are broken or contaminated before riding.

To fold the handlebar on your INVANTI TIDE 1 EB04:

1. Push the handle switch upward and open the handle outward.

2. Flip the handlebar to one side.

To install the pedals on your INVANTI TIDE 1 EB04:

1. Align the pedals to the pedal crank holes.

2. Install them with the provided tool handle.

To adjust the seat, open the seatpost clamp and pull out the seatpost, or adjust it to the appropriate height. The maximum height of adjustment shall not be higher than the safety line marked as “MIN.INSERTION”.

1. Open the E-bike folding buckle, then unlock the battery compartment using the key.

2. Remove the used battery and insert the new one.

1. Adjust the handlebar to your desired direction.

2. Tighten the screws using the screwdriver from the debugging tool.

1. Install and tighten the front magnetic part using a spanner.

2. Install the rear magnetic part, but do not tighten the nut yet.

3. Fold the E-bike and adjust the rear magnetic part angle so that the front and rear magnetic parts snap together.

4. Once aligned, tighten the rear magnetic part nut.

To adjust the shock absorber, loosen or tighten the damping spring by adjusting the damping nut using a spanner.

Power On: Press and hold the “O” button for 1 second to start the device.

Shut Down: Press and hold the “O” button for 2 seconds to turn off the device.

Switch Modes: At 0 km/h, click the “O” button to switch between fitness mode, riding mode, and riding information.

Button Functions:

• Button “+”: Press to interact upward or increase a setting.

• Button “-“: Press to interact downward or decrease a setting.

• Button “O”:

– Press once: Switch interactive interface.

– Press for several seconds: Access system power.

– Press twice: Switch the E-bike light on/off.

– Press 5 times: Switch E-bike speed units (km/h or mph).

Mode Indicators:

• GYM (red): Indicates that human power is being absorbed by the motor to generate electricity.

• PAS (green): Indicates that your riding is being assisted by electricity.

1. Please scan the QR code with your mobile phone, or search for “5thWheel” in the App market to download and install the App. Ensure it is the latest version.

2. Open the 5thWheel App and register/log in to your account. On the App homepage, click “+” in the upper right corner and select “Add Device”.

3. Keep your mobile phone’s Bluetooth on and the e-bike powered on. Move your mobile phone close to the device, and the App will automatically scan for it.

4. After the device is scanned successfully, click “Connect” to add the device as prompted by the interface.

5. After adding the device, it will be displayed on the homepage of the app. Click the device card to enter the control interface.

• Before use, confirm that the battery model is the original one for the E-bike; do not use batteries from other brands.

• Check that the lithium battery has a good appearance, without damage, leakage, heat, or smoking.

• For safe transportation, the battery usually has about 30% power. It is normal for the power to be low on first use. Recharge it by following the charging instructions.

• The best usage environment is at 10°C – 45°C. At low temperatures, the available capacity will be reduced.

• If you notice any abnormal conditions like a peculiar smell, heat, or deformation, stop using the battery immediately, stay away from it, and contact the after-sales department.

• Store the battery at an ambient temperature of 0°C – 25°C. Do not store it in an environment higher than 45°C, as this will cause irreversible capacity degradation.

• If not using the E-bike for a long time (e.g., in winter), the battery must be removed and stored separately. It should be maintained and charged regularly.

• The most suitable storage capacity for the battery is 50%. Storing it for a long time with less than 10% or more than 90% charge will cause irreversible capacity degradation.

• Do not store the battery in risky locations. Dropping it may cause uncontrollable damage.

Charging Environment:

• Please use the original battery charger.

• Please charge the battery at an ambient temperature of 10°C – 40°C, and ensure there are no flammable substances around, with good ventilation.

• Charge the battery within 12 hours. Overcharging will affect the battery life.

• It is normal for power to rise quickly in the early stage of charging and slowly in the later stage.

• If charging in winter at temperatures below 0°C, the process may stop. Charge the battery in a suitable ambient temperature to ensure effectivity.

• Do not charge outdoors in bad weather.

• During charging, it is normal for the charger’s surface temperature to be high. Avoid children touching it.

Usage and Maintenance of Charger:

• Pay attention to the battery type and applicable voltage for the charger. Mixed use is strictly prohibited.

• Charge in a ventilated environment. Do not place the charger in the seat or tail box for charging.

• When charging, plug in the battery first, then the power supply. After a full charge, cut off the power first, then unplug the battery.

• Cut off the power supply when the green light is on. Do not leave the charger connected to AC power without a load for a long time.

• If there is an abnormal indicator light, strange smell, or the charger shell overheats, stop charging immediately.

• Avoid the entry of foreign objects, especially water, into the charger.

• Do not disassemble or replace the components of the charger by yourself.

Check the tire:

• Check if tire pressure is normal. The normal air pressure is shown on the tire label.

• Check if tires are cracked or abnormally worn.

• Check for nails, stones, or glass in the tread groove.

• Replace the tire when it reaches the tread wear mark.

Check the lighting device, brake and power outage:

• Turn on the power and operate the lighting switch. Check if the headlight and taillight are on and working normally.

• Check the front and rear brake levers separately to confirm the power cuts off when they are applied.

Check the handlebar steering:

• Shake the handlebar to check for abnormal noise and to see if the handlebar, front fork, and shock absorber are deformed, bent, or cracked.

• Check for abnormal phenomena like oil leakage in the front fork and shock absorber.

Check the handlebar:

• Swing the handlebar upward, downward, forward, backward, left, and right to check for looseness.

• Rotate the handlebar to check if it is too tight.

Check wheels:

• Check if the wheels rotate smoothly and without abnormal noise.

• Check if the front and rear wheel fixing screws are tightened.

• Check if the wheel net is deformed or cracked.

Check the brake:

• Check if the idle stroke of the brake handle is within the specified range.

• When riding at a low speed on a dry, flat road, use the front and rear brakes respectively to check their braking effects.

• Replace the brake pads if they are severely worn or have reached the wear mark.

Check tire tread groove depth:

• Check the tire wear and depth of the tread groove. Replace the tire when it reaches the tire wear mark.

Usage and Maintenance of Controller:

• Regularly check if the fixing screws and wiring of the controller are loose.

• Regularly clean dust from the controller surface to help with heat dissipation. Do not wash electrical components with water.

• It is strictly forbidden to modify the controller circuit without permission.

• Regularly check controller wiring and fuses.

Motor Installation and Maintenance:

• Regularly check if the end cap screws on both sides of the motor are loose.

• Regularly check if the motor wiring is loose, if the appearance is deformed, or if the motor phase wire is damaged.

• For use in rainy days, the motor cannot be driven in deep water, and the water surface cannot exceed the position of the rear axle.

• The hub of the motor should not be violently impacted, and overloading of the motor is strictly prohibited.

• Disconnect the power supply of the E-bike before cleaning. Do not touch live parts with wet hands or metal conductors, such as the battery charging/discharging port.

• Do not rinse the electrical components with water, but wipe the E-bike’s appearance with a wet towel after drying it.

• Avoid rinsing the charging socket, wiring harness connectors, and fuses with water. Do not directly splash water on the storage box.

• Do not splash water directly on the brake, motor, and front and rear axles to prevent water from affecting the service life of the components.

• Do not wash the E-bike with steam or high-pressure water.

• If you are not using the product for a long time, do not store it outdoors, under strong light, or in below-zero temperatures. Keep it from heat sources (e.g., heating equipment) by at least 2cm.

• Store it in a dry, clean, and well-ventilated indoor environment, with a temperature of 10°C – 45°C and a relative humidity of not more than 90%.

• If not using the E-bike for a long time, charge it regularly (usually once every two months) to maintain battery performance.

• Keep the E-bike away from corrosive liquids, and prevent it from any mechanical shock and heavy object pressure.

• It is forbidden to rinse the E-bike with water to avoid the hidden danger of accidents caused by the soaking of internal electronic components and circuits.

• Please gently wipe the stains on the surface of paint or plastic parts with a neutral detergent and rag, and then clean it with a dry cloth.

• Please wipe the metal parts with lubricating oil for maintenance.

• It is strictly forbidden to inject oil into the brake part, so as to avoid danger caused by brake failure.
