Follow these safety tips for the use of your INVANTI 5TH WHEEL TIDE 1 EB04:

• Do not park the E-bike in a building foyer, evacuation stair, walkway, or safety exit.

• Do not charge and park the E-bike in residential buildings. Keep away from combustibles when charging, and the charging time shall not be too long.

• Use and maintain the battery correctly. Used batteries shall not be dismantled without authorization and shall be recycled by the relevant professional department.

• Understand the safe use of the charger and warning terms.

• Replace the charger with those matching the storage battery model.

• Do not rinse it with water to avoid the hidden danger of accidents caused by the soaking of internal electronic components and circuits.

• When adjusting the handlebar or seat, be careful not to expose the safety line marking of the handlebar stand tube and saddle tube (where applicable).

• The A-weighted emission sound pressure level at the driver’s ears is less than 70dB(A).

3. Move your mobile phone close to the device, and the App will automatically scan for the INVANTI 5TH WHEEL TIDE 1 EB04.

4. After scanning successfully, click “Connect” to add the device.

Note: Please keep your mobile phone’s Bluetooth and the device in the “On” state during this process.

• Before use, please confirm that the battery model is the original one of the E-bike; do not use other batteries of other brands arbitrarily.

• Check and confirm that the lithium battery has a good appearance, without obvious phenomena such as damage, leakage, heat, soaking, or smoking, etc.

• To ensure safe transportation, the battery usually keeps a power quantity of about 30%. Due to self-consumption during transportation and storage, the power may be low or non-existent when using it for the first time, which is normal. Recharge it by following the charging instructions.

Usage Environment:

• The best usage environment is at 10°C – 45°C.

• At low temperature, the available capacity of the lithium battery will be attenuated. For example, the available capacity is about 70% at -10°C and about 85% at 0°C.

• In case of any abnormal conditions such as peculiar smell, heat, or deformation, please stop using it immediately and contact the after-sales department.

Storage Environment:

• Please store the battery at an ambient temperature of 0°C – 25°C. Do not store it in an environment higher than 45°C, as it will cause irreversible capacity degradation.

• If not using the E-bike for a long time, the battery must be removed and stored separately, and charged regularly to avoid irreversible damage.

• The most suitable storage capacity of the battery is 50%. Storing it for a long time with less than 10% or more than 90% capacity will cause irreversible capacity degradation.

• Do not store the battery in risky locations. Dropping may cause uncontrollable damage.

Charging Environment:

• Please use the original battery charger.

• Please charge the battery at an ambient temperature of 10°C – 40°C, and ensure that there are no flammable substances around, with good ventilation.

• The charging time should be within 12 hours. Overcharging will affect the battery life.

• When charging in winter at temperatures below 0°C, it may stop charging. Charge the battery in a suitable ambient temperature to ensure the charging effect.

• No outdoor charging in bad weather.

Usage and Maintenance of Charger:

• Pay attention to the type of battery and the applicable voltage that the charger can be used for. Mixed use is strictly prohibited.

• Charge the battery in a ventilated environment. Do not place the charger in the seat or tail box for charging.

• When charging, plug in the battery first, then the power supply. After full charging, cut off the power first, then unplug the battery.

• During charging, stop immediately in case of abnormal indicator light, strange smell, or an overheated charger shell.

• During use and storage, avoid the entry of foreign objects, especially water, to prevent short circuits.

• Do not disassemble or replace the components of the charger by yourself.

• Fully charge the battery when using the new E-bike for the first time.

• Fully charge the battery as soon as possible after each use of the E-bike.

• It is forbidden to overdischarge, undercharge, and overcharge the battery.

• Keep the battery away from open flames or high-temperature heat sources. Do not expose it to the sun in the high-temperature season.

• It is recommended to deeply discharge the battery regularly, usually once a month. This means riding until the undervoltage indicator shows that the power is exhausted, then turning off the power for charging.

• If not using the E-bike for a long time, cut off the power supply and remove the battery. Keep it in a cool place and recharge it once every 20 – 30 days.

• Do not discard used batteries at will. Send them to the designated recycling outlet.

Check the tire:

• Check for normal tire pressure. The normal air pressure is shown on the tire label.

• Check if the tires are cracked or abnormally worn.

• Check if there are no nails, stones, or glass embedded in the tread groove.

• Replace the tire when it reaches the tread wear mark.

Check the lighting device, brake, and power outage:

• Turn on the power and operate the lighting switch. Check if the headlight and taillight are on and normal.

• Check the front and rear brake levers separately to confirm whether the power cuts off when applied.

Check the handlebar steering:

• Shake the handlebar to check for abnormal noise, or if the handlebar, front fork, and shock absorber are deformed, bent, or cracked.

• Check for abnormal phenomena like oil leakage in the front fork and shock absorber.

Check the handlebar:

• Swing the handlebar upward, downward, forward, backward, left, and right to check for looseness.

• Rotate the handlebar to check if it is too tight.

Check wheels:

• Check if the wheels rotate smoothly, without abnormal noise, and if the fixing screws are tightened.

• Check if the wheel net is deformed or cracked.

Check the brake:

• Check if the idle stroke of the brake handle is within the specified range (generally 5mm – 20mm depending on the brake type).

• When riding at a low speed on a dry, flat road, use the front and rear brakes respectively to check their braking effects.

• Replace the brake pads in time when they are severely worn or have reached the wear mark.

Loosen the rear axle nut first, then turn the chain drawing nut left or right to adjust the chain slack. When adjusting, align the front and rear sprockets to form a straight line. After adjustment, re-fix the rear axle nut and lock the drawing nut to make the upper and lower movable distance of the loose side of the chain at the midpoint of the two sprockets reach 10mm – 15mm.

Usage and Maintenance of Controller:

• Regularly check whether the fixing screws and wiring of the controller are loose.

• Regularly clean the dust on the controller surface to aid heat dissipation. Do not wash with water.

• It is strictly forbidden to modify the controller circuit without permission.

• Regularly check controller wiring and fuses.

Motor Installation and Maintenance:

• Regularly check whether the end cap screws on both sides of the motor are loose.

• Regularly check if the motor wiring is loose, if its appearance is deformed, or if the motor phase wire is damaged.

• For use in rainy days, the motor cannot be driven in deep water; the water surface cannot exceed the position of the rear axle.

• The hub of the motor cannot be violently impacted, and overloading of the motor is strictly prohibited.

• Disconnect the power supply of the E-bike before cleaning. Do not touch live parts with wet hands or metal conductors.

• Do not rinse the electrical components with water, but wipe the E-bike’s appearance with a wet towel after drying it.

• Avoid rinsing the charging socket, wiring harness connectors, and fuses with water. Do not directly splash water on the storage box.

• Do not splash water directly on the brake, motor, and front and rear axles.

• Do not wash the E-bike with steam or high-pressure water.

Regular Checks:

• Check whether the fasteners are locked and whether the joints of various parts are normal.

• Check whether the pattern of the outer tire is worn or cracked, whether the front and rear tire pressure is appropriate, and whether the drive system is smooth.

• Check whether the brake system is running properly.

Maintenance and Cleaning:

• It is forbidden to rinse the E-bike with water to avoid soaking internal electronic components and circuits.

• Please gently wipe the stains on the surface of paint or plastic parts with a neutral detergent and rag, and then clean it with a dry cloth.

• Please wipe the metal parts with lubricating oil for maintenance.

• It is strictly forbidden to inject oil into the brake part, so as to avoid danger caused by brake failure.

• If not using the product for a long time, do not store it outdoors, or under strong light or below-zero temperatures for a long time. Keep it from heat sources not less than 2cm.

• Store in a dry, clean, and well-ventilated indoor environment, with a temperature of 10°C – 45°C and a relative humidity of not more than 90%.

• If not using the E-bike for a long time, charge it regularly (usually once every two months) to maintain the battery performance.

• Keep the E-bike away from corrosive liquids and prevent it from any mechanical shock and heavy object pressure.

• During transportation, prevent it from severe mechanical shock, exposure to sunlight, rain, chemical corrosive substances, and harmful gas erosion.

• During loading and unloading, be careful to handle it gently to prevent dropping, rolling, and heavy object pressure.
