Water Inlet: Connect the inlet hose to a 3/4 gas threaded cold water connection point. Run the water until clear before attaching. If connecting to a hot water supply, the temperature must not exceed 60 degrees Celsius.

Lower Rack: Best for pans, lids, dishes, and salad bowls. Very soiled dishes should be placed here where the water sprays are stronger.

Cutlery Basket: Positioned at the front of the lower rack. Place knives and sharp utensils with points facing downwards or horizontally in the upper rack tip-up compartments.

Upper Rack: Best for delicate and lightweight items like glasses, cups, and shallow bowls. Use the tip-up sectors for tea saucers or to load bowls and food containers.

To adjust the upper rack of the INDESIT DPG 15B1:

The height should only be adjusted when the rack is empty.

Never raise or lower the rack on one side only.

If equipped with a Lift-Up device, lift the rack by holding its sides to move it to the high position. To restore the lower position, press the levers (A) at the sides of the rack and guide it down.

To start a cycle on your INDESIT DPG 15B1:

1. Turn the water tap on.

2. Press the ON/OFF button.

3. Open the door and add the correct amount of detergent.

4. Load the racks and shut the door.

5. Turn the WASH CYCLE SELECT knob clockwise to align the notch with the desired cycle number or symbol. The START/PAUSE indicator light will go on.

6. Press the Start/Pause button. A beep will sound and the wash phase indicator light will signal the cycle has begun.

7. When the cycle finishes, beeps will sound and the END indicator light will go on. Switch off the appliance, shut the water tap, and unplug it.

8. Wait a few minutes before unloading to avoid burns, starting with the lower rack.

The ECO cycle is the standard cycle for normally soiled tableware and is the most efficient regarding combined energy and water consumption.

To adjust the water softener settings on the INDESIT DPG 15B1 based on your local water supply:

Setting Process: Turn the machine on then off. Press and hold Start/Pause until a beep sounds. Turn the machine on. The salt indicator light flashes according to the current level. Use the SELECT WASH CYCLE knob to change the level (up to 5 levels). Press ON/OFF to save.

Regular cleaning of the filters in the INDESIT DPG 15B1 ensures the best washing results:

1. Turn the cylindrical filter (C) anti-clockwise and pull it out.

2. Remove the cup filter (B) by applying slight pressure on the side flaps.

3. Slide out the stainless-steel plate filter (A).

4. Inspect the trap and remove food residues. Never remove the wash-cycle pump protection.

5. Clean all parts under running water using a non-metallic brush.

6. Reassemble the filter unit and fix it in position correctly. The dishwasher must not be used without filters or if a filter is loose.

If the INDESIT DPG 15B1 malfunctions, check the following:

Dishwasher does not start: Switch it off, wait one minute, switch it back on and reset the program. Ensure it is plugged in and the door is shut properly.

No water drains: Check if the cycle has finished, if the inlet hose is bent, if the drain duct is blocked, or if the filter is clogged.

Excessive noise: Crockery may be rattling against each other or the sprayer arms. Check if too much detergent was used, causing excessive foam.

Dishes are not clean: The racks might be overloaded, or the sprayer arms cannot move freely. Check if the wash cycle was too gentle or if the filters are dirty.

Tap shut-off alarm (flashing washing light): Ensure there is water in the mains supply and that the inlet hose is not bent. Turn on the tap and the appliance should start after a few minutes.
