WARNING

STOP OPERATING THE MONITOR WHEN YOU SENSE TROUBLE: If you notice any abnormal phenomena such as smoke, strange sounds, or fumes, unplug the monitor and contact your dealer immediately. Further use may be dangerous and can cause fire or electric shock.

NEVER REMOVE THE CABINET: High voltage circuits are inside the monitor. Removing the cabinet may expose you to the danger of fire or electric shock.

DO NOT PUT ANY OBJECT INTO THE MONITOR: Do not put any solid objects or liquids such as water into the monitor. In case of an accident, unplug your monitor immediately and contact your dealer.

INSTALL THE MONITOR ON A FLAT, STABLE SURFACE: The monitor may cause an injury if it falls or is dropped.

DO NOT USE THE MONITOR NEAR WATER: Do not use where water may be splashed or spilt onto the monitor as it may cause fire or electric shock.

OPERATE UNDER THE SPECIFIED POWER SUPPLY: Be sure to operate the monitor only with the specified power supply. Use of an incorrect voltage will cause malfunction and may cause fire or electric shock.

PROTECT THE CABLES: Do not pull or bend the power cable and signal cable. Do not place the monitor or any other heavy objects on the cables.

ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS: It is advisable not to operate the monitor during a heavy thunderstorm.

CAUTION

INSTALLATION LOCATION: Do not install the monitor where sudden temperature changes may occur, or in humid, dusty, or smoky areas. Avoid areas where the sun shines directly on the monitor.

MAINTAIN GOOD VENTILATION: Ventilation slots are provided to keep the monitor from overheating. Place the monitor at least 10cm (or 4 inches) from any walls to allow for adequate air circulation.

DISCONNECT THE CABLES WHEN YOU MOVE THE MONITOR: When you move the monitor, turn off the power switch, unplug the monitor, and be sure the signal cable is disconnected.

HOLD THE PLUG WHEN DISCONNECTING: To disconnect the power or signal cable, always pull it by the plug. Never pull on the cable itself.

DO NOT TOUCH THE PLUG WITH WET HANDS: Pulling or inserting the plug with wet hands may cause an electric shock.

Ergonomic Recommendations:

To eliminate eye fatigue, do not operate the monitor against a bright background or in a dark room. For optimal viewing comfort, the monitor should be just below eye level and 40-60 cm (16-24 inches) away from your eyes. When using the monitor over a prolonged time, a ten-minute break every hour is recommended as looking at the screen continuously can cause eye strain.

Health Recommendations:

The monitor uses a low blue light panel default setting mode to reduce blue light exposure to your eyes.

• Look at something at varying distances after a long period of focusing on the screen.

• Consciously blink often while you work.

• Gently close and roll your eyes to relax.

• Reposition your screen to an appropriate height and angle according to your height.

• Adjust the brightness and contrast to an appropriate level.

• Adjust the environment lighting to be similar to your screen brightness, avoid fluorescent lighting, and use surfaces that don’t reflect too much light.

• See a doctor if you experience symptoms of eye strain.

For safety reasons, turn off the power switch and unplug the monitor before you clean it. If you drop any materials or liquids into the monitor, unplug the power cable immediately and contact your dealer.

NOTE: To protect the LCD panel, do not scratch or rub the screen with a hard object. Never use strong solvents such as Thinner, Benzine, Abrasive cleaner, Wax, Acid, or Alkaline solvent, as these will damage the cabinet and the LCD screen.

CABINET: Stains can be removed with a cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solvent. Then wipe the cabinet with a soft dry cloth. Avoid touching the cabinet with any product made from rubber or plastic for a long time, as this may cause degeneration or loss of paint.

LCD SCREEN: Periodic cleaning with a soft dry cloth is recommended. Do not use tissue paper etc., because these will damage the LCD screen.

Yes, the following symptoms are normal with LCD monitors and do not indicate a problem:

• When you first turn on the monitor, the picture may not fit in the display area because of the type of computer used. In this case, adjust the picture position to the correct position.

• You may find slightly uneven brightness on the screen depending on the desktop pattern you use.

• Due to the nature of the LCD screen, an afterimage of the previous screen may remain after switching the image, especially when the same image is displayed for hours. In this case, the screen can be recovered slowly by changing the image or turning off the Power Switch for some hours.

Before installation, place the monitor on a stable surface and unplug it to avoid electric shock or damage.

Step 1. Put a piece of soft cloth on a table beforehand to prevent the monitor from being scratched. Lay the monitor flat on the table with the front face down.

Step 2. Hold the monitor and install the Stand-Neck to the monitor until it clicks to secure.

Step 3. Install the Stand-Base to the Stand-Neck.

Step 4. Place the Cable Holder.

Step 1. Put a piece of soft cloth on a table beforehand to prevent the monitor from being scratched. Lay the monitor flat on a table with the front face down.

Step 2. Keep pressing the Hooks inward to pull out the Stand-Base.

Step 3. Press the Hook on the back of the monitor and remove the Stand-Neck from the monitor.

Step 4. Pull and hold the Cable Holder toward you, slide it to the left and remove it.

No, the IIYAMA PROLITE XU2763HSU is designed to be compatible only with the landscape mode. It cannot be rotated to portrait mode.

Step 1. Ensure that both the computer and the monitor are switched off.

Step 2. Connect the computer to the monitor with the signal cable (HDMI or DisplayPort).

Step 3. Connect the computer to the monitor with the USB Cable.

Step 4. Connect the Power Cable to the monitor first and then to the power source.

Step 5. Turn on your monitor and computer.

NOTE: The signal cables used may vary with the type of computer. An incorrect connection may cause serious damage. The Class I pluggable equipment Type A must be connected to protective earth. The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

After connecting the cables, you can put them through the Cable Holder to bundle them.

For optimal viewing, it is recommended to look at the full face of the monitor. Hold the stand so that the monitor does not topple when you change the monitor’s angle.

You are able to adjust the monitor’s angle up to 20° upward and 4° downward.

In order to ensure a healthy and relaxed body position when using the monitor, it is recommended that the adjusted tilt angle should not exceed 10°. Adjust the monitor’s angle to your own preference.

NOTE: Do not touch the LCD screen when you change the angle, as it may cause damage or break the screen. Be careful not to catch your fingers or hands when you change the angle.

Step 1. Press the MENU Button to start the On Screen Display feature. Additional Menu items can be switched by using the ◀ / ▶ Buttons.

Step 2. Select the Menu item which contains the adjustment icon relating to the adjustment you want to make. Press the MENU Button. Then, use the ◀ / ▶ Buttons to highlight the desired adjustment icon.

Step 3. Press the MENU Button again. Use the ◀ / ▶ Buttons to make the appropriate adjustment or setting.

Step 4. Press the INPUT/EXIT Button to leave the menu, and the settings you just made will be automatically saved.

NOTE: Any changes are automatically saved in the memory when the On Screen Display disappears. Turning off the power should be avoided while using the Menu.

You can skip the main menu and directly access certain settings using the front panel buttons when the OSD Menu is not displayed:

• Eco (◀ / leaf icon): Press this button to directly access the Eco Mode settings.

• Input Select (INPUT/EXIT): Press this button to bring up the Signal Select menu, allowing you to choose between Auto, HDMI, and DP.

• Volume (▶ / volume icon): Press this button to display the volume adjustment bar. You can then press it again to increase volume or use the ◀ button to decrease. While the volume bar is displayed, you can press the ◀ / ▶ buttons to toggle the Mute function.

There are two lock modes available:

• OSD Lock: To lock or unlock the OSD settings, hold the MENU button and turn on the monitor when the monitor is powered off.

• Power/OSD Lock: To lock or unlock both the Power and OSD settings, press and hold the MENU button for 5 seconds when the main menu is not displayed.

The availability of certain settings depends on which other items are activated. The checkmark (✓) indicates that the setting in the top row is available when the item in the first column is activated.

The standby feature automatically reduces unnecessary power consumption when your computer is not in use. When the video signal from the computer is off, the monitor enters Standby Mode, which reduces the power consumption to less than 0.5W (when USB devices are not connected). The screen becomes dark, and the power indicator turns from blue to orange. From Standby Mode, the image reappears in several seconds when either the keyboard or the mouse are touched again.

If the picture does not appear, check the following based on the power indicator status:

If the Power indicator does not light up:

• Check that the Power Cable is firmly seated in the socket.

• Check that the Power Switch is turned ON.

• Check that the AC socket is live by testing it with another piece of equipment.

If the Power indicator is blue (but no picture):

• If a blank screen saver is in active mode, touch the keyboard or the mouse.

• Increase the Contrast and/or Brightness settings.

• Check that the computer is ON.

• Check that the Signal Cable is properly connected.

• Check that the signal timing of the computer is within the specification of the monitor.

If the Power indicator is orange:

• The monitor is in standby mode. Touch the keyboard or the mouse to wake it.

• Check that the computer is ON.

• Check that the Signal Cable is properly connected.

• Check that the signal timing of the computer is within the specification of the monitor.

If you are experiencing screen issues, please check the following:

• The screen is not synchronized: Check that the Signal Cable is properly connected and that the signal timing of the computer is within the monitor’s specification.

• The screen position is not in the center: Check that the signal timing of the computer is within the monitor’s specification.

• The screen is too bright or too dark: Check that the video output level of the computer is within the monitor’s specification.

• The screen is shaking: Check that the power voltage is within the monitor’s specification and that the signal timing of the computer is also within specification.

If you have no sound or the sound is too loud/quiet, check the following:

• The audio equipment (computer etc.) is ON.

• The Audio Cable is properly connected (if applicable, audio can also come through HDMI/DisplayPort).

• The Volume is turned up in the OSD menu.

• The Mute function is OFF.

• The audio output level of the audio equipment is within the specification of the monitor.

If a strange noise is heard, check that the Audio Cable is properly connected.
