• Do not burn household waste, plastics, painted or treated wood, chipboard, coal, or coke. Burning these materials can damage the stove, the chimney, and is harmful to the environment.

Follow these steps to properly light a fire in your IGNIS TECTUM S:

1. Open the primary and secondary air controls completely.

2. Place a few firelighters on the bottom of the combustion chamber.

3. Build a small structure of dry kindling (small pieces of wood) over the firelighters. Do not use newspaper.

4. Light the firelighters.

5. Close the door of the stove. Do not leave it ajar.

6. Once the kindling is burning vigorously and a bed of hot embers has formed, you can carefully add 2-3 larger logs.

7. After adding the logs, close the door and adjust the air controls to achieve the desired burn rate.

Adding Fuel:
