The preparation before use for the HENDI 211526 includes:

Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.

Check that the device is in good condition and with all accessories. In case of incomplete or damaged delivery, please contact the supplier immediately. In this case, do not use the device.

Clean the accessories and the appliance before use (See ==> Cleaning & Maintenance).

Make sure the appliance is completely dry.

Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resistant surface that is safe against water splashes.

The operating instructions for the HENDI 211526 are:

Clean the inside of tank with a non-abrasive detergent and rinse with clean water.

Make sure the tap is closed.

Fill the appliance up to the MAX level indicated on the inner wall of the reservoir.

Fasten the lid securely by turning it until it locks into place.

Plug the cord into the electric outlet, then turn the power switch “ON”. Indicator of power switch lights up.

Use the temperature setting knob to select the desired temperature (Maximum temperature setting is 100°C). The actual temperature can differ from the selected temperature. Orange LED lights up.

When the liquid has reached the selected temperature, the orange LED lights off.

Water boiler now ready to be served.

NOTE! This appliance is not suitable for use with milk and chocolate milk.

The procedure after use or for emptying the tank for the HENDI 211526 is:

Turn off the appliance by switching off the switch and removing the plug from the socket.

Place a drip tray under the tap.

Open the tap and drain the beverage out of the tank.

When the tank has been emptied, close the tap.

To reset the safety cut-out on the HENDI 211526:

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

Allow the appliance to completely cool down.

Press the RESET button of the Hi-limiter (thermal cut-out) (Fig.2 on page 3). You should hear a click sound.

Connect to the power supply and you can use it again.

To descale use a descaling agent that is suitable for the appliance. You can also use pure lemon juice, citric acid or cleaning vinegar as a de-scaling agent. To ensure the proper mixture, read the instructions supplied with the agent. For pure lemon juice or cleaning vinegar the general mixture applies of 1/3 cleaning vinegar or lemon juice to 2/3 water.

1. Pour the solution in the appliance to maximum the”MAX” level.

2. Heat the solution by maximum temperature for 15mins.

3. Wait to allow the solution to loosen the build-up.

4. Rub lightly and gently with a brush with soft bristles.

5. Drain off the dirty water.

6. Repeat steps 1~5 until build-up has been removed.

7. Use a dry cloth to wipe the solution away.

8. When you drain off dirty water, leave the tap open and rinse the appliance with clean water till taste and smell are completely gone.

9. Now you can use the appliance again.

NOTE! Warranty is void if failure to de-scale regularly leads to reduced functioning or failure of the appliance.

If the HENDI 211526 does not work at all, and neither the red light nor the orange light is illuminated, the possible cause is no mains power. The possible solution is to check the electrical connections.

If the HENDI 211526 switches off automatically and the red light is illuminated, the possible causes and solutions are:

If the HENDI 211526 does not reach the selected temperature and the orange light is not illuminated, the possible causes are that the thermostat does not work or the heating element does not work. The possible solution for both is to contact the supplier.
