The GRAEF MYESTRO KM7016 stand mixer consists of the following components:

The touch-display of the GRAEF MYESTRO KM7016 features the following functions and indicators:

• **Pulse function:** For short bursts of mixing.

• **Display for optional accessories:** Indicates when an optional accessory is in use.

• **Whisk function:** A pre-set program for the whisk attachment.

• **Dough hook function:** A pre-set program for the dough hook attachment.

• **Flat stirrer function:** A pre-set program for the flat stirrer attachment.

• **Minutes setting:** Displays and allows setting of the operating time in minutes.

• **Seconds setting:** Displays and allows setting of the operating time in seconds.

• **Speed level:** Displays the current speed level.

For safe handling of your GRAEF MYESTRO KM7016, please observe the following safety instructions:

• Before use, check for any visible damage to the housing, connection cable, and plug. Do not operate a damaged unit.

• Repairs should only be carried out by an expert or authorized service. Incorrect repairs can cause hazards.

• Defective parts must be replaced with original spare parts only.

• This unit must not be used by children. Keep the unit and its cable away from children.

• The unit is not intended for use with an external timer or a separate remote control.

• Always disconnect the connection cable by using the plug; do not pull the connecting cable.

• Do not open the housing under any circumstances to avoid the danger of electric shock.

• Never touch live parts, as they may cause an electric shock or even death.

• Before connecting, compare the voltage and frequency on the type plate with your energy network.

• Ensure the power cable is safely laid to prevent the unit from falling.

• Never use the unit near a heat source or outdoors. Keep it in a dry place.

• The plug must be removed from the socket after each use and before cleaning.

• Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents.

• During operation, do not hold any objects in the running unit or reach into it with your hands.

The GRAEF MYESTRO KM7016 is not intended for commercial use. It is designed for domestic and similar uses, such as:

• Staff kitchens in shops and offices

• In agricultural estates

• By guests in hotels, motels, and other living quarters

• In bed and breakfast boarding houses

Use is only for applications akin to households. Any other use is not considered intended.

1. Insert the plug into the socket and switch the unit on.

2. Turn the unlocking lever upward. The stirring arm will rise. Press it further upward until it locks into place.

3. Put on the splash guard. It can be fitted in three different positions depending on the desired opening direction. Hold the splash guard under the stirring arm, turn slightly anticlockwise while moving it upwards until it hooks into place, then turn clockwise to fix it.

4. Place the desired stirring element (whisk, dough hook, or flat stirrer) on the holder. Make sure the notch on the element is level with the pin on the holder.

5. Push the stirring element upward and turn it to the right so it clicks into place and sits securely.

6. Make sure the removable bowl insert is inserted in the bowl holder.

7. Insert the bowl and turn it clockwise to secure it.

8. Put the desired ingredients into the bowl.

9. Operate the unlocking lever and press the stirring arm downward until it locks into place. There is a danger of crushing your hand or finger when closing.

• **Flat stirrer:** Suitable for mixing and stirring dry ingredients, as well as light and medium-heavy mixtures. It is not suitable for solid mixtures, such as yeast dough.

• **Whisk:** Suitable for whipping egg whites and cream, and for mixing light and medium-heavy mixtures like cake dough and creams. It is not suitable for heavy mixtures as it may break.

• **Dough hook:** Suitable for heavy mixtures, e.g., bread dough and yeast dough. When using the dough hook, it is not allowed to operate the appliance faster than speed level 3.

• The maximum preparation quantity is 3 kg (using a maximum of 2 kg flour).

• The maximum preparation quantity for egg whites is 20 egg whites (approximately 720 g).

• The maximum preparation quantity for whipped cream is 1.2 kg.

To use a stored program (Whisk, Dough hook, or Flat stirrer):

1. Touch the respective symbol on the display.

2. The time and speed are pre-set and cannot be adjusted.

3. To start the function, press the start/stop button.

4. After the time expires, the unit will stop, and “END” will appear on the display.

5. Press the start/stop button to return to the standard display.

If you have accidentally selected a program, touch the symbol again to return to the standard display.

1. If you want to mix briefly, touch the “P” symbol on the display.

2. You can adjust the speed by turning the rotary wheel.

3. To start the pulse function, press the start/stop button and keep holding it. When you release the button, the machine stops.

4. To leave the program, touch the “P” symbol again.

There are two ways to operate the mixer manually:

Manual with Time and Speed Setting:

1. Touch the time display. Turn the rotary wheel to set the minutes and seconds (maximum 30 minutes).

2. To set the speed, touch the speed display and turn the rotary wheel.

3. Press the start/stop button to begin. You can adjust the speed during preparation by turning the rotary wheel.

Simple Manual Operation:

1. Press the Start/Stop button. The unit will start on speed level 1.

2. Adjust the speed by turning the rotary wheel.

3. To end the process, press the start/stop button again.

The maximum operating time is 30 minutes under a heavy load (e.g., producing firm dough). For smaller loads (e.g., whipping cream), the unit can be used for a longer time. After heavy use, the unit must then cool down for at least 1 hour.

To reset the automatic programs or the manually set time and speed, press and hold the start/stop button for 3 seconds.

The error code E03 means that the stirring arm is still open. Close the stirring arm to clear the error and operate the machine.

If the cover for the connection of the optional accessory has not been properly inserted, the GRAEF MYESTRO KM7016 cannot be started. Ensure the cover is correctly in place.

If the bowl illumination is defective, it can be removed with commercial tools. Follow these steps:

1. Remove the power plug.

2. Remove the two crosshead screws; after that, the bowl illumination unit can be removed.

3. Then loosen the plug connection on the cord.

4. To use the new bowl illumination, follow the steps in reverse order.

Caution! Prior to cleaning, the plug must be pulled in order to avoid an electric shock.

• Remove the stirring element and the stainless steel bowl and clean them using a little bit of detergent. These are also dishwasher-safe.

• Wipe off the splash guard using a damp cloth.

• Remove contaminants from the housing or from other places using a damp cloth. Do not pour any water on cables, plugs, and ventilation.

• Do not immerse the unit in water or another liquid.

• Using a cloth, thoroughly dry all parts and reinsert all parts into the unit.
