How do I connect the GARMIN TACX SMART NETWORK ADAPTER?

To connect your GARMIN TACX SMART NETWORK ADAPTER, follow these steps:

1. Connect your Tacx trainer to an external power source.

2. Connect the adapter to the port labeled ① on your trainer. The LED will flash white.

3. Select a connection option:

• Connect to a Wi-Fi® network using the Tacx Training app paired with your trainer. Your device with the Tacx Training app must be using the same Wi-Fi network.

• Connect an Ethernet cable labeled ② directly to a computer with the Tacx Training app.

• Connect an Ethernet cable to your wireless router or home network. Your device with the Tacx Training app must be using the same router or network.


What do the LED status lights on my GARMIN TACX SMART NETWORK ADAPTER indicate?

LED Activity Status
Flashing white The adapter cable is connected and powered on. The LED turns solid white if the adapter cable is not connected to a Wi-Fi network or an Ethernet cable.
Flashing green The adapter is connected to a Wi-Fi network. The LED is solid green while transferring data.
Flashing blue The adapter cable is connected to an Ethernet access point. The LED is solid blue while transferring data.
Flashing yellow The adapter cable is connected to your computer. The LED is solid yellow while transferring data.
Cyan A software update is in progress. Do not unplug the trainer or the adapter cable.
Red Indicates a critical error. You can check the Tacx Training app for more information.
