There are two primary ways to connect your FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS:
Option 1: Connect to PC USB port.
• For standard FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS, you need the optional ClubSport USB Adapter.
• For the FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS LC, the required USB connection cable is included in the Loadcell Kit package.
This option is only applicable for use with a PC, not consoles.
Option 2: Connect to a Fanatec Wheel Base.
• Connect your FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS (standard or LC) to the ‘Pedals’ port of your Fanatec Wheel Base using the included RJ12 connection cable.
This option is applicable for use with PC or consoles.
IMPORTANT: Use only the RJ12 cable packaged with your CSL Elite Pedals and the USB cable packaged with your CSL Elite Pedals Loadcell Kit to avoid damage to the electronics.
How do I assemble the standard FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS?
1. Put together the pedal units (brake and gas) with the heel rest. Be careful not to clamp the cables of the pedal units.
2. Align the poles on the bottom of each pedal unit with the holes in the heel rest. You can try different positions to find your preferred adjustment.
3. Insert the M8 screws with a washer from the top side, through the heel rest and the pedal unit.
4. From the bottom side, secure each screw with another washer and a nut.
5. Tighten the assembly using the included Allen Key and wrench.
6. Once tightened, insert the slot cover into the heel rest.
7. Connect the RJ12 plugs from the pedal unit cables to the corresponding ports on the electronics module.
How do I assemble the FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS with the Loadcell Kit (LC version)?
1. Mount the ‘loadcell brake’ pedal unit to the heel rest of your original FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS. You can also mount the original brake (now the clutch) and throttle pedals. Avoid clamping the pedal unit cables.
2. Align the poles on the pedal units with the holes in the heel rest to find your preferred positions.
3. Insert the M8 screws with washers from the top, through the heel rest and pedal units. Secure from the bottom with washers and nuts.
4. Tighten the assembly using the Allen Key and wrench from the original pedals package.
5. Insert the slot cover into the heel rest.
6. Remove the original CSL Elite Pedals electronics module by loosening the four small screws on its sides with a 2 mm Allen Key.
7. Insert the CSL Elite Pedals LC electronics module from the Loadcell Kit package and mount it with the same four small screws.
8. Connect the RJ12 plugs of all pedal units to their corresponding ports on the new LC electronics module.
9. Replace the brake limiter pad at the backside of the clutch pedal unit (the former CSL Elite Pedals brake) with the clutch limiter pad from the Loadcell Kit package content.
How do I adjust the brake stiffness on the FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS LC?
You can adjust the brake stiffness by arranging the different elastomer springs on the back side brake rod. The brake rod holds five pieces of elastomer springs plus the soft yellow spring.
IMPORTANT: The elastomer springs must not be compressed more than 40% of their length. If mixing springs with different hardness, the maximum load is defined by the spring with the lowest shore value.

How do I install the stabilizer bars on my FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS?
The stabilizer bars are recommended to reinforce the pedal set, especially if not every pedal unit has full floor contact in a cockpit or rig. Follow these steps:
1. Pinch the clips of the covers at the pedal unit base frames to remove them from each pedal unit.
2. Insert the stabilizer bars (S2) through the holes of the now-removed covers.
3. Attach the spacers (E1) between the pedal unit base frames, sliding them over the stabilizer bars.
4. Add washers (W1) and nuts (N1) onto both ends of each stabilizer bar (S2) and tighten them.

The FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS offer several hard-mount opportunities for a secure installation:
• Heel rest: There is one hole at each of the four corners for the insertion of an M8 screw.
• Each single pedal unit: There are two holes at each pedal unit base frame.
NOTE: Always hard-mount the pedals at the heel rest and with at least one screw at each pedal unit. Hard-mount screws are not included in the package contents.
How do I attach or detach the pedal plate rubber covers and anti-skid pads on the FANTEC CSL ELITE PEDALS?
Attaching/Detaching Rubber Covers:
The rubber covers can be removed to use a pure metal pedal surface with less grip. They are designed to be attached and detached by hand, without tools. Simply pull them off the pedal plates to remove, and stretch them over the plates to re-attach. IMPORTANT: Do not use any tools to avoid damaging the product parts.
Attaching Anti-skid Pads (for Loadcell Kit):
The anti-skid pads provide better grip for drivers using shoes.
1. First, remove the pedal plate rubber cover as described above.
2. Make sure the metal pedal plate is clean and dry to allow for proper adhesion.
3. Remove the protective film from the backside of the anti-skid pad.
4. Carefully attach the anti-skid pad onto the pedal plate.
The rubber covers can be re-attached over the anti-skid pads at any time.

2. Release the pedal back to its initial position.
The pedal is now automatically calibrated. The procedure is the same for the handbrake if one is connected.

Manual calibration allows for a more precise setup or to reduce the signal range within the mechanical travel. There are different methods depending on your connection:
Manual calibration by PC driver:
1. Open the PC driver application.
2. In the ‘Function Test’ tab, check the box ‘Enable manual mode (Auto-Calibration deactivated!)’.
