The EQUATOR CMO 800 must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.

Warning: Improper use of the grounding can result in a risk of electrical shock. To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity of the EQUATOR CMO 800, follow these precautions:

Do not overcook food. Carefully attend the appliance when paper, plastic, or other combustible materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking.

Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing the bag in the oven.

If materials inside the oven ignite, keep the oven door closed and turn the oven off. Disconnect the power cord or turn off power at the fuse or circuit breaker panel.

Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils, or food in the cavity when not in use.

To avoid eruptive boiling when heating liquids, put a teaspoon or glass rod inside the container. This prevents situations where liquids are overheated beyond the boiling point without appearing to be boiling.

When using the EQUATOR CMO 800, observe the following food and container safety rules:

Liquids and other foods must not be heated in sealed containers since they are liable to explode.

The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before consumption to avoid burns.

Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens since they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.

Do not use the oven for frying as it is impossible to control the temperature of oil heated by microwaves.

Do not cook any food surrounded by a membrane, such as egg yolks, potatoes, or chicken livers, without first piercing them several times with a fork.

Never switch on the microwave when it is empty as there is no food inside to absorb microwave energy, which could cause an electrical overcharge and damage the oven.

Never remove the mica cover on the ceiling of the oven interior. This cover stops fat and pieces of food from damaging the microwave generator.

The EQUATOR CMO 800 weighs 31.63 lbs and must be placed on a horizontal surface strong enough to support this weight. The appliance requires 1.5 KVA for its input and is protected internally by a 250V, 8 Amp fuse.

Installation Steps:

1. The cabinet must be finished as per cabinet dimensions. Put the plastic buckle setting paper on the bottom board of the cabinet cavity. Align the paper with the cabinet edge and fix the bolts.

2. Put the microwave oven into the cabinet, keeping it in a horizontal direction and ensuring edge distances are equal on both sides. Fix the orientation on the back of the oven.

3. Open the microwave oven door, fix the front bolts, and then install the screw covers.

With a single press of a button, you can start simple cooking on the EQUATOR CMO 800. For example, to heat a glass of water:

1. Put the glass of water onto the glass turntable and close the door.

2. Press the START button. The microwave oven will work on P100 power for 1 minute.

3. You will hear 5 beeps when cooking is complete.

The EQUATOR CMO 800 has two microwave heating options:

Quick Microwave Heating (P100 Power):

1. Rotate the Time Setting Dial to select the desired time (e.g., 5:00).

2. Press START.

Manual Operation Microwave Heating:

1. Press the Micro button to select the power level (e.g., P70 power).

2. Rotate the Time Setting Dial to set the time (e.g., 10:00).

3. Press START.

The microwave has 5 power settings: P100, P70, P50, P30, and P10. The longest microwave heating time is 60 minutes.

The EQUATOR CMO 800 will automatically adjust the power level and time based on the weight of the food. The weight of food must be less than 4.4 lbs.

1. Press the Defrost button; dEF will be displayed.

2. Rotate the Time Setting Dial to set the weight (e.g., 1.1 lbs).

3. Press START.

To use the Auto-menu on the EQUATOR CMO 800, press the Auto menu button to choose the menu code (A-1 to A-6), rotate the dial to set the weight/portion, and press START. Refer to the table below for settings:

Note: Each lot of noodles is approximately 0.2 to 0.3 lbs.

Grill Function: This uses a metal heating element at the top of the oven. It has two settings: G-1 and G-2.

1. Press the Grill button until the display shows G-1 or G-2.

2. Set the cooking time (e.g., 20:00) using the dial.

3. Press START.

Combination Cooking: This combines microwave power and grill power. There are two settings: C-1 and C-2 (C-1 for higher microwave power, C-2 for lower).

1. Press the Combo button to select C-1 or C-2.

2. Set the cooking time using the dial.

3. Press START.

Clock Setting:

1. Press Clock/Time; the clock symbol will flash.

2. Rotate the Time setting knob to set the hours and minutes (e.g., 16:30).

3. Press Clock/Time again to finish.

Timer Function (Delayed Start):

1. Press Clock/Time and set the desired start time (e.g., 18:15).

2. Press Micro and set the power level (e.g., P70).

3. Set the cooking duration (e.g., 10 minutes) using the dial.

4. Press START. The oven will begin cooking automatically at the set time.

To activate the child safety lock on the EQUATOR CMO 800, press the Auto menu and Combo buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds when the oven is in standby mode. To unlock, press the same two buttons again for 2 seconds.

To maintain the EQUATOR CMO 800:

1. Turn the oven off and remove the power plug before cleaning.

2. Keep the inside of the oven clean. Wipe food splatters or spilled liquids with a damp cloth. Harsh detergents or abrasives are not recommended.

3. Clean the outside surface with a damp cloth, ensuring water does not seep into the ventilation openings.

4. Do not allow the Control Panel to become wet. Clean with a soft, damp cloth without using detergents or spray-on cleaners.

5. Remove the glass tray occasionally for cleaning in warm sudsy water or a dishwasher.

6. The roller ring and oven cavity floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Wipe the bottom surface with mild detergent.

7. To remove odors, combine a cup of water with the juice and skin of one lemon in a deep microwaveable bowl. Microwave for 5 minutes, then wipe thoroughly with a soft cloth.

If the EQUATOR CMO 800 fails to operate, check the following:

1. Ensure the oven is plugged in securely. If not, remove the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds, and plug it in again securely.

2. Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker.

3. If the microwave power does not function, check if the timer is set and ensure the door is securely closed to engage the safety interlocks.

4. To reduce radio interference, clean the door and sealing surface, and place the microwave as far away from radios and TVs as possible.
