The DEXPRO DXI95DT DELUX appliance should be installed by qualified persons. All repair and maintenance work on the device, for example the removal of limestone and water scale deposits, may only be carried out by a qualified plumber/tradesperson.

The DEXPRO DXI95DT DELUX appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

The device should be installed in accordance with the drawing on the first page of the user manual. Any other installation position may result in serious damage to the device.

• Installation should take place as close as possible to a cold water connection.

• The product should be protected from the effects of frost (for example in caravans, summer houses, etc.).

• This unit should not be installed in a location where it is at risk of freezing.

• This unit is not to be used with thermostatic mixing valves/taps.

• When supplying multiple basins, a tap with a spray head is essential to improve output temperature performance.

• When installing, consider any risks posed by potential leaks from the product or pipework. Avoid installation in areas where a leak could have potentially severe consequences, such as near electronic equipment.

• Check for potential freezing of the pipework or heater and take action if required, such as lagging supply pipes.

• The heater should be located as close as practical to the hot water outlet as this avoids heat losses through the pipework and improves performance.

The DEXPRO DXI95DT DELUX unit is supplied with two screws/rawl plugs and a template to mark out their position for mounting.

Mark the positions for the screws spaced at 40mm apart. Drill holes in the marked positions, push the rawl plugs into position and fix the bracket in place with the screws. Hang the product on the bracket.

The device must be installed as shown in the installation drawing on the first page of the manual.

• The blue connection on the device is the cold water inlet, and the red connection is the hot water outlet.

• Prepare the water connections to the tap. Make sure the main water supply is switched off.

• Install the device using the supplied plastic installation bracket. Make sure main power is switched off.

• Connect the water supply to the device and to the main water supply.

• Open the main water supply, check for leakage, and release air from the system by opening the hot water tap.

• Once air has left the system, connect the device to the electric system.

• The heater should now function.

Note: The supplied O-ring must be fitted to prevent leaks from water connections.

Before powering on, ensure you run water through the system and test for leaks.

• Electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE wiring regulations.

• Ensure the heater is earthed.

• Isolate electric and water supply before electrical installation.

• Ensure all wiring provisions meet the specifications of the heater as stated on the rating label and in the ‘Specification’ section of the manual.

• Make a connection to the electrical supply from the heater via a 40A rated fused spur using the cable supplied.

• The connection should be made as follows:

– Green/Yellow earth wire to the terminal marked “E”

– Brown/Red live wire to the terminal marked “L”

– Blue/Black neutral wire to the terminal marked “N”

The power cable can be surface clipped, hidden, or run via 20mm conduit.

The DEXPRO DXI95DT DELUX has three function keys:

• Power symbol key: power switch

• “-” key: reduce the temperature

• “+” key: increase the temperature

When the unit is not switched on, you can press either the “-” or “+” key at the same time to show the power. Press “-” or “+” to adjust the power level.

1. First, switch the power supply on.

2. Turn on the tap, then press the “power” key.

3. Press the “-” or “+” key to adjust the water temperature to the required setting.

4. Use the tap to control the water flow. The water temperature will go down when the water flow is high, and the water temperature will increase when the flow is low.

5. Press the “power” key to put the unit in standby when not in use.

6. If the unit will not be in use for a long time, please switch it off at the main power supply.

1. When powered on, the screen will display the current inlet temperature, required temperature, and actual outlet temperature. The outlet performance is governed by the inlet temperature and flow rate. The maximum temperature you can achieve may differ depending on the time of year.

2. The unit will stop heating when the temperature reaches 55°C to protect the user from scalding.

3. When powered on, the unit will continue to heat the water ready for use.
