6. The chosen location of your new appliance should allow for the product to be securely mounted (e.g. to a firm wall) and safely connected to the mains supply.
7. Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the appliance is plugged is in accordance with the rating label on the appliance and that the socket is earthed.
8. Keep the mains lead away from the hot body of the appliance.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not cover or obstruct any of the heat outlet grilles or the air intake openings of the appliance.
11. Do not place the appliance on carpet.

1. Choose the location for your new appliance giving consideration to all of the safety points. The unit needs to be installed a minimum of 2 metres above the floor. There must also be a minimum clearance of 0.2m from the ceiling, and 0.25m from side walls.
2. Using a guide, mark the position of the two fixing holes. The distance between the holes should be 580 mm.

5. Insert the plastic rawl plugs and screws, leaving approximately 10mm of the screw protruding.

To set the timer up to 24 hours, keep pressing the “24H” button or the “+” button to increase the hours from 00:00 to 24:00 (e.g., 01:00=1 hour). The “D” light will be on. Note: Setting the timer to “00” means no timer is set and the “D” light will be off.
How do I use the thermostat on the DEXPRO DXPTC2T heater?
1. Adjusting the temperature is done by using the remote control. With the unit switched on, press the “+” or “-” buttons to set the desired temperature. The temperature can be set from 10°C to 49°C.
2. When the air temperature drops 2 degrees below the set temperature, the heater will start heating and the double flame symbol (2000W) will illuminate.
3. When the air temperature is 1 degree or more higher than the set temperature, the heater will blow cold air.
How do I program the weekly timer on the DEXPRO DXPTC2T heater?
First, you must set the current time and day:
1. Set Week Day: Press the “Set” button. “1” will flash on the LED display. Press the “+” or “-” buttons to set the day from 1-7 (1=Monday, 7=Sunday).
2. Set Hour: Press the “Set” button again. “00” will flash on the LED display. Press the “+” or “-” buttons to set the hours from 01-00 (01=1 o’clock, 00=24 o’clock).
3. Set Minute: Press “Set” button again. “00” will flash on the LED display. Press the “+” or “-” buttons to set the minutes from 00-59.
Note: After pressing the “Set” button, the LED display will flash for 5 seconds for you to make an adjustment. If no button is pressed, the unit will return to standby. The appliance will keep the right time until the power is turned off.
Next, set the weekly program for each day:
1. Set Monday: Press the “W-Timer” button. “1” will be shown on the LED display.
2. Start Hour: Press “W-Timer” button again. “00” will flash. Press “+” or “-” to set the start hour.
3. Start Minute: Press “W-Timer” button again. “00” will flash. Press “+” or “-” to set the start minute. With the “ON” light on, this indicates the open time.
4. Finish Hour: Press “W-Timer” button again. “00” will flash. Press “+” or “-” to set the finish hour.
5. Finish Minute: Press “W-Timer” button again. “00” will flash. Press “+” or “-” to set the finish minute. With the “OFF” light on, this indicates the close time.
6. Set Temperature: When the time is set, press the “Delay” button on the remote control to set the temperature for this period. Press “+” or “-” to select the required temperature (10°C to 49°C).
7. Continue for Other Days: Press the “W-Timer” button again. “2” will be shown on the LED display, meaning “Tuesday”. Complete the above steps for the start and finish time for each day of the week. You can set different start times, finish times, and temperatures for the whole week.
What is the Open Window Detection feature on the DEXPRO DXPTC2T heater and how do I use it?
The Open Window Detection feature puts the DEXPRO DXPTC2T heater in a smart energy-saving mode. In this mode, the appliance checks and records the ambient temperature. It will stop working if it detects a temperature drop of 3°C within 1 minute, as this indicates an open window.
