Rear Parking Assist: When in Reverse at speeds less than 5 mph, this system indicates detected objects with audible beeps. The beeps become faster as you get closer to an object. To manage this setting, go to Configuration > Vehicle Settings > Collision/Detection Systems > Park Assist.

Setting Cruise Control:

1. Press the ON/OFF button. The Cruise Control symbol will illuminate in white in the instrument cluster.

2. When you reach the desired speed, rotate the SET- thumbwheel down to set the speed. The symbol will then illuminate in green.

Adjusting Cruise Control:

RES+ Resume/Accelerate: Rotate the thumbwheel up to resume a previously set speed or to increase the current speed.

SET- Set/Coast: When the system is active, rotate the thumbwheel down to decrease the speed.

CANCEL: Press the CANCEL button to cancel the cruise control but retain the set speed in memory. The set speed is erased if cruise control or the vehicle ignition is turned off.

Fuel Economy (eco) Mode (4-cylinder models only):

This mode can improve fuel economy by changing transmission shift points and adjusting climate control operation. When engaged, transmission shifts and engine noise may be more noticeable. Electronic Range Select (ERS) Mode:

Traction control should be turned off if the vehicle is stuck and rocking the vehicle is necessary. To turn the system off, press the StabiliTrak/Traction Control button. The Traction Control Off light will illuminate in the instrument cluster. Press the button again to turn the system back on.

To set the parking brake:

Hold down the regular brake pedal, then push down the parking brake pedal.

To release the parking brake:

Hold down the regular brake pedal, then push down the parking brake pedal again until you feel the pedal release.

The Low Tire Pressure warning light indicates that one or more of your vehicle’s tires is significantly underinflated. You should fill the tires to the proper pressure as listed on the Tire and Loading Information label, which is located below the driver’s door latch.

You can view the current tire pressures in the Driver Information Center. Tire pressure can be affected by cold weather, so if the light illuminates when the vehicle is first started in cooler temperatures and then turns off as you drive, you should still check for the proper tire pressures.

1. To open the fuel door, press the dimple located in the center of the rear edge of the door. The fuel door will pop out. Pull the door open.
