The package for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 should contain the following items:

Follow STEP 1 to set up the Moflin Bed for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10:

Plug the AC adaptor provided into the Moflin Bed (1) and then into a household power outlet (2). Once it is connected, the white LED lights up.

Follow STEP 2 to place your CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 in the Moflin Bed:

Set your Moflin in the Moflin Bed so that their tummy is flush against the flat surface in the Moflin Bed. Your Moflin’s rear goes towards the end with the LED. Find the position where the LED turns orange to show that charging has started.

As charging progresses, your CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 begins to move (STEP 3). When charging is completed, the LED turns green. Start playing with your Moflin once the Moflin Bed LED turns green.

If the Moflin Bed LED for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 lights or flashes red, this indicates an error. You should unplug the AC adaptor and return to STEP 1.

If the Moflin Bed LED for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 flashes orange, this indicates an error. You should remove your Moflin from the Moflin Bed and check that the LED is lit white before returning to STEP 2.

When the battery level is low for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10, your Moflin will shiver and just make crying sounds. You should put your Moflin in the Moflin Bed to recharge.

If the LED is lit light blue (not flashing) for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10, charging has stopped due to excessive heat, but this does not indicate an error. Once the charger cools down, charging will automatically restart. If the LED is flashing light blue, move the Moflin Bed to an environment that is within the recommended operating temperature range and try again.

There are several reasons why your CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 might stop moving:

• Is your Moflin moving? When your Moflin is sleeping deeply or the battery level is too low, they will stop moving. If they’re asleep, they will move when you wake them up. If they won’t wake up, recharge the battery.
• Resting: If the battery level is low, it may take some time before your Moflin starts moving again after recharging.
• Too hot…: If the inside of your Moflin gets too hot, they may stop moving. Refer to the User Guide for more information.

If your CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 gets dirty, wipe them clean using a cloth that has been moistened with water or a mild detergent and then wrung out. Do not wash your Moflin or splash them with water. Do not attempt to forcibly remove your Moflin’s fur or launder it. If your Moflin’s fur loses its softness or becomes heavily soiled, seek support information.

Precautions when charging your CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10:

• Never put anything other than your Moflin into the Moflin Bed (charger). Metallic objects in particular could heat up, causing burns or other injury due to a fire or breakage.
• Charging while there is something (particularly metallic objects) between the Moflin Bed (charger) and your Moflin could cause overheating and lead to a fire.
• The Moflin Bed (charger) is a wireless charger that uses electromagnetic induction technology. Users of heart pacemakers should consult a physician.

For the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10, the recommended operating conditions are:

• Operating temperature range: 5°C to 35°C (41°F to 95°F)
• Operating humidity range: 20% to 80% Rh (condensation-free)

Do not place your CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 in the following locations:

• Extremely hot or cold locations that are outside the recommended operating temperature range
• Very humid, dusty or gritty locations or in direct sunlight
• Locations subject to extreme variations in temperature or humidity, such as close to heating or cooling units
• Inside a vehicle on a sunny day or in locations subject to frequent vibrations

When using or storing your Moflin, avoid locations close to appliances that generate strong electromagnetism, radiation or magnetic fields.

You must use the enclosed AC adaptor with the Moflin Bed (charger) for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10. Using another AC adaptor could cause electrical damage and lead to a fault. The enclosed AC adaptor (5.9 VDC, 2 A) can be used with the Moflin Bed (charger).

Warnings for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10:

• Your Moflin and their parts and accessories are not toys. When using your Moflin, keep them out of the reach of small children and other people who require supervision.
• Do not use your Moflin outdoors. Moisture or foreign material inside your Moflin could cause a fault.
• Do not put clothing or ribbons (particularly metallic materials) on your Moflin that could impede their movements.
• Do not apply excessive force to hinder the movements of your Moflin.
• Do not drop your Moflin, place heavy objects on them, or subject them to strong impacts or pressure. Doing so could cause a fault.
• Do not submerge in water.
• The Moflin is not suitable for children under the age of 3.
• The AC adaptor is not a toy.
• Misuse of AC adaptor can cause electrical shock.
• This product contains batteries that are non-replaceable.
• Products liable to be cleaned with liquids are to be disconnected from the AC adaptor before cleaning.

Observe the battery precautions for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 to prevent the battery from exploding or leaking flammable liquid or gas:

• Do not burn a battery or dispose of it in an incinerator, or by mechanical crushing or cutting.
• Do not subject a battery to excessively high or low temperatures during use, storage, or transport.
• Do not subject a battery to excessively low barometric pressure during use, storage, or transport.

CAUTION: Do not handle damaged or leaking Lithium-Ion batteries.

WARNING: Never dispose of batteries in a fire because they may explode.

Note for Parents regarding the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 AC adaptor:

The AC adaptor is not intended to be used in the same way as your Moflin or the Moflin Bed (charger). Any use of the AC adaptor by children must be strictly supervised by their parents or guardians. The AC adaptor or battery charger used with the electric toy shall be regularly examined for damage to the supply cord, plug, enclosure or other parts, and in the event of damage, it shall not be used until the damage has been repaired.

The CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10, their battery, charger, and AC adaptor should not be disposed of with household waste. Do not attempt to open or disassemble your Moflin. The symbol (crossed out wheeled-bin) means the products must not be discarded as household waste. Please dispose of your Moflin, charger, and AC adaptor according to local environmental regulations. Dispose of your Moflin, charger, and AC adaptor at an appropriate collection facility for recycling.

Caution: The Moflin Bed (charger) for the CASIO MOFLIN PE-M10 should not be used by children under the age of 8. Anyone using your Moflin should be given thorough instructions on how to use them safely and told that your Moflin is not a toy and should not be played with.
