The box for the BYRON DBY-24724UK contains the following items:

2 x Wireless Chime Units

1 x Push Button

1 x CR2450 Battery for the push button

1 x Adhesive pad for mounting

2 x Screws and wall plugs for mounting

The following items are needed to start and are not included in the box:

A small flathead screwdriver.

3 x AA batteries for each chime unit.

Optional items for installation and power include:

A drill with a 6mm bit.

A Micro USB cable and a 5V-2A adapter.

Follow these steps for the first set-up:

1. Open the back cover of the push button.

2. Insert the included CR2450 battery with the positive (+) side facing up, then close the cover.

3. Open the battery compartment on the back of the chime unit and insert 3 x AA batteries, observing the correct polarity.

1. After inserting batteries into both the push button and the chime, press the push button once.

2. Press and hold the pairing button on the side of the chime unit. The chime’s light will flash to indicate it is in pairing mode.

3. When the chime unit sounds and the light gives a confirmation flash, the pairing is complete.

There are two methods to install the push button:

Method 1: Adhesive Pad

Use the included double-sided adhesive pad to stick the push button onto a clean, dry surface.

Method 2: Screws

1. Open the push button housing.

2. Use the two provided screws to mount the backplate of the push button to the desired wall or frame.

3. Snap the front cover of the push button back onto the mounted backplate.

You can pair up to 8 push buttons with one chime, or multiple chimes with one push button.

1. Press and hold the pairing button on the chime unit you wish to pair.

2. Within 30 seconds, press the push button you want to link to that chime.

3. The chime will sound to confirm that the pairing was successful.

Repeat this process for any additional chimes or push buttons.

To change the volume, press the volume button (marked with a ‘+’) on the side of the chime unit. Each press will cycle through the available volume levels.

To change the melody, press the melody button (marked with a musical note ‘♫’) on the side of the chime unit. Each press will cycle to the next available melody.

1. To cycle through the available LED alert colors, press the color selection button on the chime.

2. To assign a specific color to a specific push button, first select your desired melody for that push button.

3. After selecting the melody, press the color button to choose the desired alert color.

4. The selected color is now linked to that push button and its chosen melody.

Yes, you can use an optional 5V-2A Micro USB adapter to power the chime unit. IMPORTANT: Do not insert batteries into the chime while it is being powered by the USB adapter.

To perform a full reset of the chime unit, which will clear all paired push buttons, press and hold the pairing button on the side of the chime for 10 seconds. The chime will be reset to its factory settings.

To remove a single push button from the chime’s memory:

1. Press and hold the pairing button on the chime for 5 seconds. The chime’s LED will begin to flash.

2. While the LED is flashing (you have 10 seconds), press the push button that you wish to unpair.

3. The chime will flash twice to confirm that the push button has been successfully unpaired.

For the chime unit, it is recommended to use Alkaline or Lithium batteries. Do not use Rechargeable or Zinc batteries.
