The BYRON DBY-22313FR box contains the following items:

For an alternative screw-based installation of the push button, the following optional tools (not included) are needed:

A drill with a 6mm drill bit

Two Ø 5 mm or Ø 3 mm screws

Two Ø 6 mm wall plugs

A Phillips head screwdriver

To complete the first set-up of your BYRON DBY-22313FR, please follow these steps:

Step 1. Plug the doorbell chime into a power socket.

Step 2. Insert the included CR2032 battery into the push button, ensuring the ‘+’ side is facing up.

Step 3. Press the push button to test the connection.

Step 4. The chime will sound (“DING DONG”) to confirm it is working correctly.

There are two methods to install the push button for your BYRON DBY-22313FR:

Option 1 (Adhesive): Use the provided adhesive pad to stick the push button backing plate onto a clean, dry surface.

Option 2 (Screws): Use two screws to mount the push button backing plate to the desired surface.

After mounting the backing plate with either method, clip the push button onto it.

To select one of the 16 available melodies on your BYRON DBY-22313FR, press the melody selection button on the side of the chime unit. Each press will cycle to the next melody. The chime will remember the last melody played as the selected tune.

To adjust the volume on your BYRON DBY-22313FR, press the volume (+) button on the side of the chime unit. Repeatedly press the button to cycle through the available volume levels until you reach your desired setting.

To pair multiple accessories (up to 10 chimes or 10 push buttons) with your BYRON DBY-22313FR system, follow these steps:

Step 1. Plug the new chime you wish to pair into a power socket. It will automatically enter a 30-second pairing mode.

Step 2. Within those 30 seconds, press and hold the push button for 3 seconds.

Step 3. The chime will sound (“DING DONG”) to confirm it has been successfully paired.

To manually pair a push button with the BYRON DBY-22313FR chime, follow this procedure:

Step 1. Plug the chime unit into a power outlet.

Step 2. Press and hold the pairing button on the side of the chime for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.

Step 3. Within the next 30 seconds, press the push button that you want to pair.

Step 4. The chime will sound (“DING DONG”) to confirm the pairing is successful.

If you need to troubleshoot or clear all paired push buttons from the BYRON DBY-22313FR chime’s memory, you can perform a reset:

Step 1. Press and hold the pairing button on the side of the chime unit for 10 seconds.

Step 2. The unit will beep multiple times (“BEEP BEEP BEEP”) to confirm that the memory has been cleared and the reset is complete.
