How to turn on the appliance?
To turn on the appliance:
1. Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
2. Press the power button for 1 second. The display will show “—” initially.
3. After approximately 5 minutes, the display will change, indicating it is ready for program selection.
How to clean the appliance before first use?
Before using the appliance for the first time:
1. Remove the drawer from the appliance.
2. If applicable (for HF5073), remove the grill grate from the drawer.
3. Wash the drawer and the grill grate/basket thoroughly with water and mild detergent.
4. Dry all parts completely with a cloth.
5. Reinsert the grill grate/basket into the drawer (if applicable) and then slide the drawer back into the appliance.
6. The appliance is now ready to be plugged in and used.
How to select cooking programs?
The appliance features different cooking programs and a manual mode, indicated by icons. To select a program, press the corresponding icon on the control panel. The available programs depend on the model (HF5050I or HF5073I).
For HF5050I, programs include Air Fry and Fast Oven, with pre-set icons for various foods and a manual mode (M).
For HF5073I, programs include Air Fry, Grill, and Fast Oven, with pre-set icons for various foods and a manual mode (M).
Example food icons for programs:
• Air Fry: Fries, Frozen Fries, Fish, Chicken Drumsticks, Steak, Meatballs (HF5050I & HF5073I).
• Grill (HF5073I only): Fish, Carrots, Steak, Chicken Drumsticks, Bacon.
• Fast Oven: Fries, Pizza, Cupcakes, Fish, Chicken Drumsticks, Steak, Meatballs (HF5050I & HF5073I).
Additionally, a Manual mode (M) is available under each main program for custom settings.
How to adjust cooking time and temperature settings?
To adjust the cooking time and temperature settings:
1. Press the time/temperature adjustment button on the control panel.
2. The display will show the current time setting (e.g., 40 min). Use the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the time (e.g., 39, 40, 41 min).
3. After adjusting the time, the display will show the current temperature setting (e.g., 180 °C). Use the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the temperature (e.g., 175, 180, 185 °C).
4. Once the desired time and temperature are set, press the play/pause button to start cooking.
How to air fry french fries (example)?
To air fry french fries:
1. Prepare the potatoes by cutting them into approximately 10×10 mm strips.
2. Wash the cut potatoes and dry them thoroughly with a towel.
3. Add a small amount of oil (e.g., 1 unit) to the potatoes and mix well to ensure they are evenly coated.
4. Place up to 1000g of the prepared potatoes into the air fry basket.
5. Insert the drawer into the appliance.
6. Select the “Air Fry” program and choose the appropriate pre-set for fries (V icon).
7. The default time will be 23 minutes at 200°C for fresh fries (10×10 mm). Press the start/play button.
8. After approximately 10 minutes of cooking, the appliance will signal with a “flashing shake” icon. This indicates it’s time to shake the food.
9. Carefully remove the drawer, shake the contents to ensure even cooking, and then reinsert the drawer.
10. The cooking will resume automatically.
11. Once cooking is complete, the appliance will display “flashing 00” and an “End” signal. Carefully remove the food from the basket and serve.
How to use Manual mode for cooking?
To use the Manual mode (M) for cooking:
1. After turning on the appliance, select the desired main program: Air Fry, Grill (HF5073I only), or Fast Oven.
2. Press the “M” (Manual) button to enter manual mode. This allows you to set custom time and temperature.
3. The default settings for each manual mode are:
• Air Fry (Manual): 15 minutes at 180 °C.
• Grill (Manual): 12 minutes at 200 °C.
• Fast Oven (Manual): 25 minutes at 190 °C.
4. You can adjust these default time and temperature settings using the respective adjustment buttons.
5. Once settings are adjusted, press the play/pause button to start cooking.
6. When cooking is complete, the appliance will display “flashing 00” and an “End” signal.
What to do if the appliance displays an error code?
If the appliance displays an error code (e.g., E1, E2, E3) that is flashing:
1. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
2. Wait for at least 15 minutes.
3. Plug the appliance back in.

How to use the Grill function on HF5073, including pre-heating?
To use the Grill function on the HF5073I model, including pre-heating:
1. Select the “Grill” program by pressing its icon on the control panel.
2. The display will show “PrE” (Pre-heat), then the pre-heat temperature (e.g., 220 °C), and a pre-heat time (e.g., 07 min). A “pre-heat” icon will also be displayed. The appliance will automatically begin the pre-heating cycle.
3. Once pre-heating is complete, the display will change to show the cooking time (e.g., 10 min) and an “Add” icon, indicating it’s time to add food.
4. Carefully open the cooking drawer, place your food on the grill grate inside, and then close the drawer securely.
5. Press the play/pause button to start the grilling process.
6. The appliance will cook for the set time. When cooking is complete, it will display an “End” signal.
