How do I enter the user menu on an LCD alphanumeric keypad?
It is convenient to operate the system with the LCD alphanumeric keypad.
1. Enable the keypad and confirm that the system is in disarmed status.
2. To enter the menu:
– Users with authority levels can enter their own user menu by entering the user code (default = 2580) followed by the [-] key.
– Without any codes, users can enter the general menu by only pressing [-] key.
3. Select the menu and operate according to the menu prompts.
How do I change the Master Code?
1. Enter the master code, then press [-].
2. Select menu [2] [2] (User Code), press [#] to select U01 – User 01 Name.
3. Enter the new master code, and press [#].
4. Press [-] until “Confirm to Save Parameter Change” appears, then press [#].

How can I operate the system using keypad keys?
You can operate the system with the corresponding keypad keys:
– Long press command, hold-down the single key for 3 seconds.
– Two keys command, press and hold (or press and release) the two keys at the same time.
– Other command, press and release the single key.
