To prepare your dishwasher for the first use, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the electricity and supply water specifications match the values indicated in the installation instructions.

2. Remove all packaging material from inside the machine.

3. Set the water softener level according to the hardness of your water supply.

4. Set the rinse-aid dosage according to the instructions.

5. Fill the salt dispenser with dishwasher salt if your model includes a water softener and your water hardness requires it.

The dishwasher is preset at level 1 (inactive). If you need to change the water hardness level based on your local water supply, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the machine and press the Start/Pause + On/Off button for 3 seconds until a dash appears on the display with an audible warning, then release the button.

2. Press and hold the Program Selection + Cancel button until SL appears on the display. The machine will show the last setting used.

3. Adjust the water hardness level by pressing the Program Selection + Cancel button until the desired level is reached.

4. Turn the dishwasher off by pressing the Start/Pause + On/Off button to save the selected level.

Use the following table as a guide for settings:

Proper arrangement ensures optimal cleaning and drying performance:

Lower Basket: Load round and deep items such as pots with long handles, pot lids, plates, salad plates, and cutlery sets. Place all containers with the opening facing downwards.

Upper Basket: Designed for dessert plates, salad bowls, cups, and glasses. When placing long stem glasses, lean them against the basket edge or rack. Place thin narrow parts into the middle sections of the baskets.

Third Rack/Silverware Basket: Place cutlery separately so items do not nest. Load silverware with pointed and sharp sides facing downwards. Long utensils should be placed in the middle.

General Rules: Do not place dishes and cutlery above one another. Ensure that dishes do not prevent the upper and lower spray arms from spinning. Large items should not block the detergent dispenser from opening.

The following items are not suitable for machine washing:

1. Plastic items unless they are marked dishwasher safe or equivalent.

2. Any dishes made of wood or items that include wooden parts, as high temperatures can cause them to swell or crack.

3. Silver items without a dishwasher safe label, as they can be damaged by high temperatures and detergent.

4. Porcelain and glassware with decorations or hand-painted utensils, as they may lose color and patterns.

5. Aluminum items, which can turn dark due to heat or minerals in the water.

6. Sponges or dishcloths that can absorb water.

7. Materials such as acrylic, copper, brass, pewter, iron, bronze, or tin.

8. Glued dishes or cutlery, as the adhesives may loosen.

1. Turn the dishwasher on by holding the On/Off button for 3 seconds.

2. Select a program by pressing the Program selection button until the desired cycle number appears on the display. The display will alternate between the cycle number and the estimated cycle time.

3. To add an option (such as Sanitize or Extra Dry), select the desired option button before starting.

4. Press Start/Pause and close the door within 4 seconds to begin the cycle.

To change a cycle while running: Open the door to switch to standby. Select a new cycle and press Start/Pause. Close the door within 4 seconds.

To cancel a cycle: Open the door and press and hold the Program button for 3 seconds. The number 1 will show on the display, and the water discharge process will take 30 seconds to complete.

Detergent Dispenser: Push the latch to open the container. Pour in the powder or liquid detergent, or place a detergent tablet inside. Close the lid and press until it locks. Detergent should be added just before the start of each program.

Rinse-Aid Dispenser: Open the rinse-aid compartment cap. Fill the compartment with rinse-aid to the MAX level. Close the cap until it clicks. To adjust the level, turn on the machine, hold Start/Pause + On/Off for 3 seconds, then press and hold Program Selection + Cancel until rA appears. Adjust the level (1 to 5) by pressing Program Selection + Cancel, then turn the unit off to save.

Regular maintenance ensures the appliance operates efficiently:

Cleaning Spray Arms: Check the holes for clogging periodically. To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upwards. To remove the upper spray arm, turn its nut to the left. Wash them under running water and use a paper clip or similar object to remove debris from the holes. Tighten the nut well when reinstalling the upper arm.

Cleaning the Filter: Remove the lower rack and lower spray arm. Turn the filter assembly to remove it. Clean the micro filter, coarse filter, and metal/plastic components with soap and water. Use a soft brush for hard-to-remove soils. Do not use a wire brush or scouring pad. Reassemble and ensure all parts are correctly fitted.

If the program fails to start, check the following:

1. Ensure the dishwasher is plugged in and switched on by pressing the On/Off key.

2. Check for a blown indoor fuse.

3. Verify that the water inlet tap is fully open.

4. Ensure the dishwasher door is closed securely.

5. Check that the water inlet hose and machine filters are not clogged.

If water is not draining from the machine:

1. Check if the water drain hose is clogged or twisted. Clean or untwist it as needed.

2. Check the filters and clean them if they are clogged.

3. The program may not have finished yet; wait until the cycle is complete.

4. If connected to a garbage disposal, ensure the plug from the disposal unit has been removed.
