You will also need a Phillips-head screwdriver and a drill for wall mount installation, and an HDMI ARC cable if you wish to use that connection method.

To set up your BAUHN ASBBT-0725 soundbar in a free-standing position, place it on a secure, flat surface like a TV stand or shelf. Ensure the soundbar is resting on its rubber pads, which are located on the left and right sides of the bottom of the unit. Make sure no other part of the soundbar’s bottom is touching the surface to ensure stability and proper acoustics.

Wall mounted installation should be carried out by qualified personnel only. Incorrect assembly can result in injury or damage. The following are the general steps:

1. The soundbar has two keyhole slots on the back for mounting. The distance between these keyholes is 700mm.

2. Use a pencil to make two drill hole marks on the wall, ensuring they are 700mm apart and perfectly level. Use a 6mm drill bit with a power drill (not supplied) to drill holes on the marks. For a wood stud wall, it is recommended to use an electronic stud detector to locate the center of the studs before marking and drilling.

3. Use the supplied long screws (2) and plastic anchors (2) to fix the wall mount adaptors onto the drilled holes.

4. Once the adaptors are securely fixed to the wall, carefully hang the soundbar onto them using the keyhole slots.

The buttons on the right side of the BAUHN ASBBT-0725 soundbar provide control over its basic functions:

• (POWER/SOURCE) button:

– Press and hold for about 1.5 seconds to turn the soundbar on or off.

– When on, press momentarily to switch between input sources (e.g., HDMI ARC, Bluetooth, AUX).

– When on, press twice to enable or disable sound playback (mute).

• VOL + / – buttons: Press to increase or decrease the volume level.

• K / ►►I buttons (Previous/Next):

– Press to skip to the previous or next track during playback.

– Press and hold both the K and ►►I buttons simultaneously to disconnect a currently paired Bluetooth device.

The BAUHN ASBBT-0725 soundbar has several connection ports on its rear panel:

1. HDMI (ARC): The Audio Return Channel (ARC) function allows you to send audio from an ARC-compliant TV to the soundbar using a single HDMI cable, eliminating the need for a separate audio cable.

2. OPTICAL: Use an optical audio cable (not included) to connect to the OPTICAL OUT socket of a device like a TV or DVD player for digital audio input.

3. USB: Plug in a USB stick to play media files stored on the device. This port is for playback only and not for charging devices.

4. AUX IN: Use the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable to connect to the headphone socket of a media player or other audio device.

5. COAXIAL: Use a coaxial cable (not included) to connect to the COAXIAL OUT socket of a device like a TV or DVD player.

6. AC IN: Connect the supplied power cord here. Ensure all other connections are made before plugging into the mains supply socket.

To use the ARC function with your BAUHN ASBBT-0725 soundbar:

1. Connect an HDMI cable (not included) from the soundbar’s HDMI (ARC) socket to the HDMI (ARC) socket on your ARC-compliant TV.

2. In your TV’s settings menu, turn on the ARC and CEC functions. When CEC is enabled, the soundbar will turn on and off automatically with your TV.

3. With this setup, you can use your TV’s remote control to adjust the volume (VOL +/- and MUTE) of the soundbar.

Important: When using an ARC, Optical, or Coaxial connection, the audio output setting in your TV or external device’s menu must be set to PCM mode (not Auto, RAW, or other modes).

First, insert the two included AAA batteries into the remote, ensuring the polarity (+/-) is correct. To use the remote, point it towards the remote control sensor on the front of the soundbar from a distance of up to 6 meters and within a 30-degree angle. Ensure the path is not blocked.

The remote control buttons have the following functions:

• POWER: Switch the soundbar on or to standby.

• Mute Icon: Mute or unmute the sound.

• VOL + / VOL -: Increase or decrease the volume level.

• K / ►►I: Skip to the previous or next track.

• II: Start or pause playback.

• INPUT: Switch between the input sources (HDMI ARC, Bluetooth, Optical, etc.).

• Music Note Icon: Select the Music sound effect (EQ mode).

• Film Clapper Icon: Select the Movie sound effect (EQ mode).

• News Icon: Select the News sound effect (EQ mode).

• USB Repeat Icon: Cycle through USB playback repeat modes (repeat one, repeat all).

• 3D SURR.: Turn the 3D surround sound effect on or off.

• LED: Turn the front LED display on or off.

To listen to audio via Bluetooth on your BAUHN ASBBT-0725 soundbar, follow these steps:

1. Switch the soundbar’s input mode to Bluetooth. The LED display will show ‘bt’.

2. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other compatible device and set it to search for devices.

3. Select ‘BAUHN ASBBT-0725‘ from the list of found devices to begin pairing.

4. If your device prompts for a passkey, enter “0000” and press OK.

Only one device can be connected at a time. If the soundbar is already connected to another device, it will not appear in your Bluetooth list. To disconnect the existing device, press and hold the K and ►►I buttons on the soundbar simultaneously.

The LED display on the front of the BAUHN ASBBT-0725 soundbar shows the current status and settings. You can turn the display on or off by pressing the LED button on the remote control.

If your BAUHN ASBBT-0725 soundbar won’t turn on, try the following steps:

• Ensure that the AC power cord is properly and securely connected to both the soundbar and a working power outlet.

• Press the (POWER) button on the soundbar or the (POWER) button on the remote control to turn the unit on.

If the remote control for your BAUHN ASBBT-0725 is not functioning, please check the following:

• Move closer to the soundbar and aim the remote directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.

• Check the batteries. Ensure they are inserted with the correct polarity (+/-). If they are old or low, replace the batteries with new ones.

If the unit is completely unresponsive, you can perform a power cycle. Disconnect the AC power cord from the wall outlet, wait a minute, then reconnect it and turn the soundbar on again.

If you are trying to pair a new device and cannot find the BAUHN ASBBT-0725 soundbar, consider these points:

• Ensure the Bluetooth function is activated on your phone, tablet, or other device.

• The soundbar may already be connected to another device. Ensure you have unpaired any previously paired Bluetooth devices from the soundbar. You can force a disconnection by pressing and holding the ‘previous track’ and ‘next track’ buttons on the soundbar simultaneously.

For general sound problems with your BAUHN ASBBT-0725 soundbar:

• Make sure the soundbar is powered on and set to the correct input mode. Use the (POWER/SOURCE) button on the unit or the INPUT button on the remote to cycle through sources.

• Press the volume up button to ensure the soundbar is not muted or the volume is too low.

• If a specific input mode (e.g., Optical) is not working, it’s likely that the setting on the source device (e.g., TV) is incorrect or the cable is not working or properly connected.

• For no sound from apps like Netflix, go to your TV’s settings menu, find the Audio Output settings, and change the output mode to ‘PCM’ (instead of Auto, RAW, etc.).

If you have no audio when using the HDMI ARC connection:

• Ensure the soundbar’s input source is set to ARC.

• Verify that your TV supports the ARC function and that you are using the designated HDMI ARC port on the TV.

• In your TV’s setting menu, ensure the ARC function and CEC function are turned on.

• In the TV’s audio output settings menu, change the audio output mode to ‘PCM’.

• Make sure both ends of the HDMI ARC cable are fully plugged into the sockets.

• If the problem persists, try using a different HDMI ARC cable.

If you are not getting sound via an Optical or Coaxial connection:

• Check that the input source on the soundbar is set to the correct mode (OPE for Optical, COA for Coaxial).

• Increase the volume on the soundbar to make sure it’s not muted.

• In the TV or external device’s settings menu, find the audio output settings and change the mode to ‘PCM’.

• For Optical connections, make sure you have removed the small protective plastic caps from both ends of the Optical audio cable, and that both ends are fully plugged in.

• If these steps don’t work, try using a different optical or coaxial cable.

If you cannot play audio from a USB drive:

• Ensure the USB drive is formatted to FAT32 and does not have a capacity greater than 32GB.

• Some media file formats may not be supported. Please try a different file format (e.g., MP3) to see if it plays.
