• The unit is not designed to cool server rooms, sun rooms, or a room generating constant high levels of heat.

• The installation must be in accordance with the regulations of the country where the unit is used.

• Never connect the unit to an electrical outlet using an extension cord. If a proper outlet is not available, one should be installed by a licensed electrician.

• The air conditioner is safe. However, as with any electrical appliance, use it with care.

• Keep out of the reach of children.

• Do not clean the unit by spraying it or immersing it in water.

• Do not insert any object into the openings of the unit.

• Disconnect the unit from the outlet before cleaning the unit or any of its components.

• Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug.

• Do not lead the cord over sharp edges.

• A damaged supply cord should be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a qualified person to avoid a hazard.

• Any service other than regular cleaning or filter replacement should be performed by an authorized service representative.

Yes, do not use your air conditioner in the following situations:

• If the power cable wires are frayed or cut.

• Where small children may be left unattended.

• On a slope or uneven surface.

• Close to a heat source.

• If the product is not made for DIY repair.

• If there is a risk of liquid falling on the unit.

• If the inside of the unit is exposed to the weather outdoors.

• In a permanently very humid environment.

• Do not connect the unit to an extension cord.

• Where the power cable may be damaged.

• Where it may be damaged by chemicals.

• Where there is a risk of interference by foreign objects.

Additionally, the unit is not to be used in temperatures under 41°F or over 95°F.

The first time that you use the unit, please ensure that it has been standing in an upright position for at least 2 hours before it is switched on.

Follow these steps to assemble the AutoDrain system:

1. Attach the Window Slide Bar Connector to the Exhaust Hose by twisting as shown.

2. Put the spiral water pipe into the hot air flexible hose.

3. Connect the female half of the quick connector at the end of the spiral water pipe to the male part in the hot air outlet pipe.

4. Turn the connector 45° clockwise until it is locked in place.

5. Stretch the end of the hose slightly. Assemble the hot air hose on the unit by screwing it in clockwise.

6. Clip on the water atomizer at the end of the spiral pipe to the holder.

7. Unfold the flexible hose with the attached hose adapter connector, and snap it into the Window Slide Bar.

To disassemble, push the tab and turn the quick connector counter-clockwise to unlock it.

For proper positioning, keep the following in mind:

• The air conditioner must stand upright on an even surface.

• Do not position the unit near a bath, sink, or other permanent wet or damp area.

• Keep the unit at least 18 inches from walls, curtains, draperies, or heat sources to ensure adequate air circulation.

To install the exhaust hose to the window slide bar:

Note: The window kit is designed for sliding windows or doors, not casement style windows.

Step 1: Measure your sliding window. If the window kit is larger than your required dimensions, it can be cut with a saw or power tool. If it is too short, an additional kit can be ordered.

Step 2: Screw the slide bar connector into the exhaust hose first. Then, spin the exhaust hose into the air outlet located at the rear of the unit (counter-clockwise).

Step 3: Insert the slide bar connector into the adjustable slide bar. Extend the slide bar to match the width of your window (vertically or horizontally), and tighten the screw to hold its length. Ensure the slide bar fits snugly in your window. Close and lock your window on the slide bar to secure it in place.

IMPORTANT: The flexible exhaust hose can be extended from 10.25″ to 58.5″. It is recommended to keep the hose as short as possible. Do not use an extension or a different hose, as this may lead to malfunctioning. The exhaust air must flow freely, and any blockage can cause overheating.

The control panel buttons function as follows:

1. POWER: Press this key to turn the machine on/off. The default setting is cooling mode with low fan speed.

2. MODE: After turning the machine on, press this key to select cooling, fan, or heating mode.

3. FAN: After turning the machine on, press this key to select fan speed (high, medium, and low).

4. DOWN: In cooling or heating mode, press this key to decrease the temperature setting (from 60°F to 90°F). In timer mode, press this key to decrease the on/off time.

5. UP: In cooling or heating mode, press this key to increase the temperature setting (from 60°F to 90°F). In timer mode, press this key to increase the on/off time.

6. SLEEP: In cooling or heating mode, press this key to turn the sleeping function on/off.

7. TIMER: Under power-on or standby mode, press this key to set up an on/off time from 0 to 24 hours.

8. TiO2/Ion: After turning the machine on, press this key to select the TiO2/Ion function.

The screen indicators represent the following:

1. Temperature display: Shows the set temperature.

2. Cooling mode indicator: Lit when in cooling mode.

3. Dehumidifying mode indicator: Lit when in dehumidifying mode.

4. Fan mode indicator: Lit when in fan mode.

5. Sleeping mode indicator: Lit when sleep mode is active.

6. Timer mode indicator: Lit when the timer is active.

7. Receiver: Receives the signal from the remote control.

8. Water full indicator: Lit when the internal water container is full.

9. Low fan speed: Indicates low fan speed is selected.

10. Medium fan speed: Indicates medium fan speed is selected.

11. High fan speed: Indicates high fan speed is selected.

12. Heating mode indicator: Lit when in heating mode (only for heating model).

13. Ion / TiO2 indicator: Lit when the Ion / TiO2 function is active (only for Ion / TiO2 model).

Cooling Mode:

• The default value upon turning on is cooling mode with 72°F and low fan speed.

• Press “MODE” to select cooling mode; the cooling mode indicator will turn on.

• Press “UP” or “DOWN” to adjust the temperature (from 60°F to 90°F).

• Press “FAN” to select the fan speed (low, medium, high).

Heating Mode:

• Press “MODE” to select heating mode; the heating mode indicator will turn on.

• Press “UP” or “DOWN” to adjust the temperature.

• Press “FAN” to select the fan speed (low, medium, high).

Fan Mode:

• Press “MODE” to select fan mode; the fan mode indicator will turn on.

• Press “FAN” to select the fan speed (low, medium, high).

• Temperature and sleeping function cannot be set up in this mode.

Timer Mode:

• In standby mode, press “TIMER” to set the power-on time. Press “UP” and “DOWN” to adjust the timer from 1 to 24 hours. The timer indicator will turn on.

• In power-on mode, press “TIMER” to set the power-off timer. Press “UP” and “DOWN” to adjust the timer from 1 to 24 hours. The timer indicator will turn on.

Sleeping Mode:

• Press “SLEEP” to enter sleeping mode. The default fan speed is low.

• In cooling mode, the set temperature will increase by 1° after the first hour, another 1° after the second hour, and then remain constant.

• In heating mode, the set temperature will decrease by 1° after the first hour, another 1° after the second hour, and then remain constant.

• Sleeping mode is not available in dehumidifying and fan modes. It will be cancelled if the water tank is full.

Compressor Protection:

• The compressor will start to run three minutes after the unit is powered on or restarted.

This air conditioner features Innovative AutoDrain Technology and does not require emptying of the water container during normal operation, except prior to end-of-season storage. During the cooling process, some of the accumulated water is used to cool the unit internally, making it run more efficiently.

If you need to empty the container for storage or if the “Water Full” indicator is lit, follow these steps:

1. Switch off the unit and remove the plug from the outlet.

2. Position a flat container or dish on the floor under the drain hole. Do not allow the water to drip continuously into the container as it might overflow.

3. Remove the drain knob.

4. Remove the rubber plug; water will flow into the container. When it is nearly full, replace the plug to stop the flow and empty the container. Repeat until all water is removed.

5. Replace the rubber plug into the drain hole firmly. The WATER FULL LED should no longer be flashing.

6. Replace the drain knob.

Always unplug the unit from the power supply before cleaning.

Housing:

Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the body clean. Never use strong chemicals, oil-based products, detergents, chemically treated cloths, or other cleaning solutions, as they could damage the housing.

Filter:

• Clean the filters every two weeks. If filters are blocked by dust, the machine’s efficiency will be reduced.

• Use a vacuum cleaner or tap the filter lightly to remove loose dust and dirt.

• Rinse the filters thoroughly under running water (not warmer than 104°F).

• Dry them thoroughly with a soft cloth before inserting them back into the unit.

Notice! Never operate the air conditioner without the filters.

Follow these steps to install the carbon filter:

1. Remove the side filter frame from the unit.

2. Remove the back filter frame from the unit.

3. Separate the filter fixer from the back filter frame.

4. Remove the active carbon filter from its plastic bag.

5. Insert the active carbon filter into the filter frame.

6. Fix the filter by re-assembling the fixer onto the filter frame.

7. Re-fit the back filter frame inside the unit.

8. Re-fit the side filter frame inside the unit.

If the air conditioner does not function, check the following:

• No power supply: Make sure the green light on the plug is lit. Connect to a functioning outlet and switch it on. If there is no green light on the plug, press the “Reset” button on the LCDI plug.

• Power light is flashing / Water full LED is lit: The internal water container may be full. Empty the water container.

If the plug continues to trip (the green light goes off), the cord may be damaged. For your safety, contact a licensed electrician.

If the air conditioner is running but does not seem to perform well, check for these possible causes:

• The unit is in direct sunlight: Close curtains or shades to block the sun.

• Windows or doors are open, or there are many people or a heat source in the room: Close all doors and windows. The unit is not designed to cool server rooms, sun rooms, or rooms with constant heat generation.

• The filter is dirty: Clean or replace the filter.

• Air inlet or air outlet is blocked: Power off the unit, unplug it, and remove any blockage.

• Room temperature is lower than the selected value: Change the temperature selection. Set it to the lowest possible setting: 60°F.

If the unit is noisy, it may be because it is standing on an uneven surface. Place the unit on an even, solid surface to reduce vibrations.

The overheat protection may be activated. Wait 30 minutes for the temperature to decrease, then turn on the unit again. Remember, there is a built-in 3-minute delay for the compressor to start after being turned on.

If the remote control does not function, check the following:

• Distance too great or not aimed correctly: Make sure the remote control is correctly aimed at the control panel on the unit.

• The batteries are drained: Check and replace the batteries in the remote.
