What are the parts and controls of the TSBT-270 Sound Tower Speaker?

The speaker system consists of the main speaker tower, a two-part stand, and a remote control.

Top Control Panel:

How do I install the stand for the speaker?

1. Take the two pieces that make up the base of the stand.

2. Align and slot the two base pieces together to form a single cross-shaped base.

3. Carefully place the bottom of the speaker tower onto the assembled base, aligning the screw holes.

4. Secure the speaker tower to the base by inserting and tightening the provided screw from underneath the base.


How do I connect the speaker to power?

1. Plug the barrel connector of the power adapter into the power input port on the back of the speaker.

2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a mains wall outlet.


How do I turn the speaker on?

Press and hold the POWER button on the top control panel for 2 seconds. A sound will play to indicate that the speaker is on.


How do I turn the speaker off?

Press and hold the POWER button on the top control panel for 2 seconds. A sound will play to indicate that the speaker is off.


How do I adjust the volume?

To increase the volume, press and hold the VOL UP button on the top control panel. Alternatively, press the VOL+ button on the remote control.

To decrease the volume, press and hold the VOL DOWN button on the top control panel. Alternatively, press the VOL- button on the remote control.


How do I switch between different function modes?

Press the MODE button on the top control panel or on the remote control to cycle through the available modes (e.g., Bluetooth, USB, AUX-IN).


How do I control music playback in USB and Bluetooth modes?

Play/Pause: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once to play or pause the music.

Next Track: Press the VOL UP / FORWARD button once to skip to the next track.

Previous Track: Press the VOL DOWN / BACK button once to return to the previous track.

These controls can also be accessed using the corresponding buttons on the remote control.


How do I connect my device to the speaker via Bluetooth?

1. Turn the speaker on. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode if no other device is connected.

2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, open the Bluetooth settings.

3. Search for available devices and select “AIWA TSBT-270” from the list.

4. The speaker will emit a sound to confirm the Bluetooth connection is successful.

5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker. The connection range is up to 10 meters.


How do I play music using the AUX-IN mode?

1. Connect one end of the included audio cable to the AUX-IN port on the back of the speaker.

2. Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack of your audio device (e.g., laptop, smartphone, MP3 player).

3. Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote until you are in AUX-IN mode.

4. Play music from your connected device, and it will be heard through the speaker. Playback must be controlled from the source device.


How do I use the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) function to connect two speakers?

1. Turn on two separate TSBT-270 speakers.

2. On one of the speakers (this will become the master unit), press the TWS button. The speakers will automatically search for each other and pair. This process may take up to 30 seconds.

3. Once the TWS connection is established, you will hear a confirmation sound.

4. Connect your Bluetooth device to the master speaker (the one you pressed the TWS button on).

5. Music played from your device will now be split into left and right channels and play in stereo across both speakers. The maximum distance between the two speakers for TWS function is 10 meters.
