The Portable Charger takes about 3.5 hours to charge under normal use. 1. Make sure the ACON/OFF switch is in the OFF position. 2. Connect the AC adaptor pin to the DC-IN Jack on the Portable Charger. 3. Connect the AC Plug into an AC Wall Outlet. IMPORTANT: Make sure the AC ON/OFFswitch is in the OFF position before charging. When the adaptor is connected to the Portable Charger, the AC outlet and USB port will shut off automatically. (The Portable Charger will NOT function while it is charging.) Connect your device’s AC charging cord to your device’s charging port (please refer to your device’s user guide for charging). 2. Connect your device’s charging cord AC plug to the AC Outlet on the Portable Charger. 3. Slide theAC ON/OFF Switch toward the ON position 4. When your device is fully charged, be sure to remove your device and the Charging cable from the Portable Charger. 5. IMPORTANT: Slide the AC ON/OFFswitch to the OFF position. (If left in the ON position, it will drain the Portable Charger.) Charging devices with the USB Charging Port The Portable Charger is capable of powering or charging most consumer electronic devices that have USB power ports. 1. Connect your device’s USB charging cord to your device’s charging port (please refer to your device’s user guide for charging). 2. Connect the USB end of your device’s USB charging cord to the USB Charging Port on the Portable Charger. 3. Long press the USB ON/OFF button for five (5) seconds to start charging your device. 4. When your device if fully charged, be sure to remove your device and the Charging cable from the Portable Charger. NOTE: The USB Charging Port will power OFF automatically when a device is AC Device Device’s AC/DC adapter with charging Cord (not included) • öéö AC Outlet disconnected from the port. USB Charging Port USB Device NOTE: As a safety precaution, if an AC product rated higher than 65W is plugged into the Portable Charger, the Portable Charger will shut down. NOTE: As the Portable Charge is used, its voltage will fall. When the Portable Charger voltage drops below 1 1 V, it will shut down automatically. This prevents the battery from being damaged. WARNING: Shock Hazard Grip the Portable Charger carefully when removing or inserting an AC plug. Keep your fingers clear of the AC outlet. Make sure that your fingers do not contact the prongs of an AC plug that is partially inside the Portable Charger. WARNING: Shock Hazard Be careful when inserting an AC plug into a 3-prong outlet. The prongs of an AC plug can become bent from misuse. If an AC plug is not inserted properly into the AC outlet, a bent prong can slip outside of the Portable Charger and become a shock hazard. WARNING: Output non-sinusoidal Some chargers on the market for nickel-cadmium batteries can be damaged if connected to the Portable Charger. Do not use the Portable Charger to charge devices which request a sine wave power source. WARNING: While using the Portable Chargerr keep it away from materials that can be affected by high temperatures. The housing can become warm during operation, especially extended period operation.
