To ensure safe operation of the ZOJIRUSHI SF-CC20, please follow these guidelines:

Keep the bottle out of reach of infants and small children to avoid the risk of scalding or injury.

Always clean the bottle thoroughly after use to prevent malfunctions like rusting, perforation, or spoiled contents.

Always close the Stopper tightly and ensure the Spout is closed after pouring to prevent beverages from spilling and causing burns.

Do not use the bottle if it loses its heat retention properties, as the outside may become very hot when filled with hot liquids.

Consume beverages within the same day to prevent spoiling, gas buildup, and potential pressure that could cause the Stopper to burst or leak.

Do not drink out of the bottle while driving, as this may cause scalding, stains, or serious accidents due to distraction.

Do not heat the bottle in a microwave or place it near heat sources like gas stoves or ovens, as this may cause sparks, deformation, or discoloration.

Do not disassemble the Main Body or remove the sticker on the bottom of the bottle.

When filling the ZOJIRUSHI SF-CC20, you must leave 1cm (1/2-inch) of room at the top. If the bottle is overfilled, contents may overflow when placing the Stopper, or the Spout may become difficult to open. Beverages may also become caught in the Stopper and leak out.

Avoid filling the ZOJIRUSHI SF-CC20 with the following items:

Dry ice and carbonated drinks: These can cause pressure to build up, making the Spout difficult to open or causing the Stopper or Cup to burst.

Liquids containing salt, such as soup: Salt may cause rust and lead to a loss of thermal insulation.

Dairy products and fruit juice: If left for long periods, these can spoil and produce gas that may cause the Stopper to burst.

Fruit pulp and tea leaves: These may get caught in the Stopper and cause leaks.

Do not place cans or bottles inside the Main Body as they may deform or damage the product.

When containing hot beverages in the ZOJIRUSHI SF-CC20, follow these steps:

Tilt the product slowly when pouring to avoid splashes and potential burns.

Do not shake the bottle, as this may cause scalding or injuries.

Always use the Cup when drinking hot beverages. Never drink directly out of the bottle, as the vacuum insulation keeps the contents very hot for many hours and may cause burns.

If the Stopper becomes difficult to remove when the bottle is filled with hot beverages, press the Button to open the Spout and release pressure before attempting to remove the Stopper.

When the Stopper Button is pressed, steam may burst out due to internal pressure. To prevent this, close the Stopper while keeping the Spout open, and wait approximately 20 seconds before closing the Spout.

To take care of the ZOJIRUSHI SF-CC20, clean the product after each use:

Outside Main Body: Wash with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid using a soft sponge. Rinse and shake a few times, then wipe dry. Remove carrying straps before washing.

Cup and Stopper: Wash with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid using a soft sponge with a handle. Rinse and wipe dry. Detach and wash gaskets after each use and remember to reattach them.

Inside Main Body: Fill with warm water, close the Stopper, and pour the water out through the Spout several times. Then remove the Stopper and wash the interior with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid using a soft sponge with a handle. Rinse and wipe dry.

Carrying Strap: Soak a soft cloth in warm water and dishwashing soap, wring well, and wipe the strap.

General Notes: Do not soak the bottle. Do not use paint thinner, benzine, metal wire scrub brushes, or abrasive cleansers. Do not use chlorine-type bleach. Do not use a dishwasher or dish-dryer. Do not boil to sanitize.

For rust spots and water stains: Fill the ZOJIRUSHI SF-CC20 with hot water mixed with 10% vinegar. Let it stand for 30 minutes to an hour without attaching the Stopper, then wash the interior thoroughly.

For coffee and tea stains: It is recommended to use Zojirushi cleaning detergent (SB-ZA01/SB-ZA01E, sold separately). Always remove the Stopper when using these cleaners.

To prevent leaks in the ZOJIRUSHI SF-CC20 after pouring, follow these precautions:

After pouring, stand the bottle upright and wait 2-3 seconds before closing the Spout.

Wipe off any excess liquids on the Cup before closing.

Always store the bottle upright when carrying it inside bags to prevent beverages from spilling.

Closing the Spout while the bottle is tilted may cause beverages to become caught in the Stopper and leak out later.

A rattling noise may be heard when the ZOJIRUSHI SF-CC20 is shaken. This comes from the copper or aluminum foil used in the vacuum insulation to increase heat and cold retention and does not indicate a malfunction.

Observe these warnings for the ZOJIRUSHI SF-CC20:

Do not force large ice cubes into the bottle. Forcing them may cause deformation or malfunction.

Avoid dropping or hitting the bottle against hard surfaces, as damage to the plastic or stainless steel surface may reduce its ability to retain heat.

Do not rub the design on the outside of the bottle strongly, as it may come off.

Do not allow hot kettles to touch the Mouth of the bottle, as it may tip over and cause scalding or damage the bottle.
