Before turning on your phone, visit xfinitymobile.com/activate. Log in to start the activation process.

The Xfinity Mobile app is preloaded on your phone. Consider it your control center to track your usage, manage your account and more.

From the Home screen swipe up to access apps, tap Search phone, and enter “Xfinity Mobile” to find the Xfinity Mobile app.

Use the tool to open the SIM/microSD card tray.

Place the SIM card and the optional microSD card into the trays with the gold contacts facing down.

Your SIM card may be pre-installed.

Before turning on your phone, charge it fully.

NOTE: Use only Samsung-approved charging devices and accessories. Samsung accessories are designed for your device to maximize battery life. Using other accessories may void your warranty and may cause damage.

From the Home screen swipe up, and tap Finder search to find apps, settings, contacts and more.

From the Home screen swipe up, and then tap Settings to customize, connect or turn on options to personalize your phone.

In Settings, go to Connections to connect to or set up a Wi-Fi network, Bluetooth device, Wi-Fi™ calling, Mobile HotSpot, Tethering and other connection options.

In Settings, go to Sounds and vibration to set device volume and sounds.

In Settings, go to Display to customize the Home screen and display brightness.

In Settings, go to Wallpapers and themes to make the device your own with fun and unique wallpaper and themes.

In Settings, go to Digital wellbeing to set usage limits for your device.

In Settings, go to Lock screen to select a screen lock type and set security options.

In Settings, go to Biometrics and security to set facial or fingerprint security options.

The Help feature gives access to the user manual and useful information on how to use your device. To open, from Settings tap Help.

The Help feature provides information on how to use your device, including how to make a call, send and receive texts, manage contacts, explore health & fitness, and utilize accessibility settings.

1. Drag the Status bar down to display the Notification panel.

2. Touch and drag to access all Quick Settings options.

3. Tap Wireless PowerShare.

4. With the phone face down, place the device on the back of the phone to charge.

Wireless PowerShare works with most Qi-Certified devices. Requires minimum 30% battery to share. Speed and power efficiency of charge varies by device. May not work with some accessories, covers, or other manufacturer’s devices. If you have trouble connecting or charging is slow, remove any cover from each device. May affect call reception or data services, depending on your network environment.

Swipe left or right to select a mode.

Tap Gallery to view photos.

Tap Capture to capture images.

Tap Toggle cameras to switch between the back and front cameras.

1. From the Home screen, tap Camera then AR Emoji then Create My Emoji.

2. Tap the capture button to capture your photo and customize and save your emoji.

1. Tap Messages then New message then Enter message field.

2. Tap Stickers to add a GIF or your very own emoji or sticker, and then tap Send.

Tap Recents to view a list of recently opened apps.

Tap an app icon to view app options such as Open in split screen view, Open in pop-up view, Change app aspect ratio, or Lock this app.

Swipe up on an app preview to close it.

Swipe down on an app preview to open it.

1. From the Home screen tap, Settings then Display then Navigation bar.

2. Tap one of the following Navigation types:

– Navigation buttons (default)

– Full screen gestures

You can also adjust the Button order for navigation buttons. Gesture hints (Displays only when full screen gestures is selected) can be enabled.
