Be sure to fasten down tight. Collar (not supplied) Mortise key cylinder w/standard cam (not supplied) Locking pin lever Cylinder locking washer 1/8” maximum Cylinder lock nut thickness 1-1/8” or 1-1/4” Insert mortise key cylinder through collar and into hole. Note: Cylinder must be oriented as shown. 2 4 Position back cover plate. 5/32 Sec Hex Key 5 Install screws. (8-32 x 1/4" Undercut Flat Head Socket Security Machine Screw) Do not tighten down. Step 2 Install bottom mullion fitting. (If bottom mullion fitting already exists, go to Step 3 .) C L Door Opening 2 Bottom mullion fitting mounted flush against inside face of doors. 4Install screws. (5/16-18 x 1 1/4" Flat Pan Head Machine Screw) 3 Position bottom mullion fitting. Install 5/16" x 18 expansion anchors. Cut threshold to allow bottom mullion C L Door Opening fitting to sit on the floor. (Use bottom mullion fitting as template) 1 Drill 5/8" Diameter x 1 1/2" Deep holes.

Step 3 Size mullion.

Measure from this edge. ’X’

MeaTsuaprine g Measure to this edge. 1 Measure distance from frame Measure distance from frame to bottom mullion fitting. Mullion Length = ’X’ - 4 3/16" Do not cut end of mullion with warning label. 2 Determine mullion length using formula and cut. Remove all burrs and 90° sharp edges. 3

4 Step 4 Install top mullion fitting. CL Top Mullion Fitting Shim Note: If mullion is cut between 3/16" - 5/16" too short, add top mullion fitting shim. 1 Position top mullion fitting 4 Install screws and Lock Washers. (5/16-18 x 1 1/4" Button Socket Head Cap Screw & 5/16 External Tooth Lock Washer) 16 Gauge Reinforcement. Supplied by frame 2manufacturer. 3 Drill and tap frame for 5/16-18 screws using top mullion fitting as template. Top mullion fitting mounted flush against inside face of doors. Mounting Top mullion fitting on optional frame styles: 16 Gauge Reinforcement Mark holes. C L Door Opening Angle Bracket can be purchased through 16 Gauge Von Duprin. 16 Gauge Reinforcement Reinforcement Filler block is to be supplied by frame manufacturer.

Step 5 Attach keyed removable unit to mullion. Keyed Removable Unit 2 Bottom of 3 Mullion ! ! WARNING 1 Position keyed removable unit onto top of mullion. Remove key, reinstall, and pull mullion to check for locked condition. With a hammer and a block of wood, tap keyed removable unit snug against mullion. 4 Drill (2) 11/32" Diameter holes. 7 Tighten down screws. 5 Install sex bolts by 6 Install screws. (1/4-20 x 1" tapping into hole with Flat Head Socket Security a hammer and a Machine Screw) block of wood. This end has label 5/32 Security Hex Key Drill (2) 13/32" Diameter holes (this side only) using holes in unit as template. 5

6 Step 6Final Installation & Adjustment. WARNING! If set screw is adjusted out too far, the bolt may not latch completely allowing the mullion to fall out when impacted. 7 1 Install screw. (8-32 x 3/8" set screw) until flush with face of top mullion fitting. Install mullion. 2Check for tightness of mullion by pushing and/or pulling on mullion. To tighten, remove mullion (see Step 7 ) and rotate set screw out 1/2 turn. Repeat this procedure until desired tightness is reached. Step Operation. Rotate key 180° Clockwise to unlock and remove mullion
