To install the UBIQUITI NETWORKS POWERBEAM PBE-5AC-400-ISO, you will need the following:
13 mm wrench
Shielded Category 5 (or above) cabling with drain wire should be used for all wired Ethernet connections and should be grounded through the AC ground of the PoE.
Industrial-grade, shielded Ethernet cable from Ubiquiti Networks is recommended to protect networks from harmful outdoor environments and destructive ESD events.
Surge protection should be used for all outdoor installations. It is recommended to use two Ethernet Surge Protectors, model ETH-SP, one near the device and the other at the entry point to the building.

To reset the UBIQUITI NETWORKS POWERBEAM PBE-5AC-400-ISO to factory defaults, press and hold the Reset button for more than 10 seconds while the device is powered on. Alternatively, the device may be reset remotely via a Reset button located on the bottom of the Gigabit PoE adapter.

How do you install the hardware for the UBIQUITI NETWORKS POWERBEAM PBE-5AC-400-ISO?
Follow these steps to install the UBIQUITI NETWORKS POWERBEAM PBE-5AC-400-ISO:
1. Align and insert the tabs of the Mounting Bracket into the slots of the Reflector. Rotate the Mounting Bracket counterclockwise until the alignment holes in the dish and bracket align.
2. For high-wind environments, insert four Screws with Washers into the holes in the Reflector and Mounting Bracket, and secure each with a Washer and a Nylon Insert Lock Nut.
3. Line up the Alignment Pins of the Rear Housing with the holes of the Mounting Bracket and push the Rear Housing into the bracket.
4. Confirm from the front of the Reflector that the three hooks of the Rear Housing are fully engaged with the inner wall of the Reflector.
5. Push in the sides of the Cable Door and detach it from the Rear Housing.
6. Insert the Antenna Feed into the Rear Housing until it locks into place with a click. Confirm it is locked by lightly pulling it and checking that the Release Button is engaged.
7. Connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet Port of the Antenna Feed and re-attach the Cable Door.
8. Assemble the Pole Clamp to the Adjustment Bracket using Carriage Bolts and Flange Nuts.
9. Mount the Adjustment Bracket on a pole (diameter 40 to 80 mm) and tighten the Flange Nuts to 25 N·m.
10. Insert the Pivot Pins of the Adjustment Bracket into the Mounting Bracket Slots on the dish assembly.
11. Secure the Adjustment Bracket to the Mounting Bracket using the four Hex Bolts with Washers.
12. Align the Notch on the Reflector with the Arrow at the top of the Radome and slide the Radome down onto the Reflector Rim.
13. Snap the bottom three tabs of the Radome over the Reflector rim.
How do you adjust the elevation angle on the UBIQUITI NETWORKS POWERBEAM PBE-5AC-400-ISO?
To adjust the elevation angle on the UBIQUITI NETWORKS POWERBEAM PBE-5AC-400-ISO:
1. Loosen the four Hex Bolts located on both sides of the antenna assembly.
2. Pivot the antenna until the Elevation Indicator shows the desired elevation angle.
3. Tighten the four Hex Bolts to secure the position.
How do you connect power to the UBIQUITI NETWORKS POWERBEAM PBE-5AC-400-ISO using the PoE Adapter?
To power the UBIQUITI NETWORKS POWERBEAM PBE-5AC-400-ISO with the included Gigabit PoE Adapter:
1. Connect the Ethernet cable from the device to the POE port of the Gigabit PoE adapter.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your local area network (LAN) to the adapter’s LAN port.
3. Connect the Power Cord to the adapter’s power port and plug the other end into a power outlet.
