To fit the electric blanket:

1. Place the electric blanket on the mattress with the skirt on top of the electric blanket. Ensure the end of the electric blanket with the controller is at the top end of the bed.

2. Position the power cord to prevent it being sat on or rolled on when getting in or out of the bed as this will damage it.

3. Once the electric blanket is in the correct position, fit the skirt over the mattress.

4. Connect the controller to the socket on the electric blanket. Then, plug the power cord into an electrical outlet and turn it on. The controller must be kept outside the bed and away from external sources of heat, such as heaters or bedside lamps.

To operate the controller:

1. To switch on the electric blanket, slide the ON/OFF switch to the ‘ON’ position. The timer and temperature will illuminate on the display screen. The electric blanket will default to a medium setting for both ‘Body’ and ‘Feet’.

2. Adjust your required body zone temperature or your feet zone temperature by pressing the ‘Body’ or ‘Feet’ buttons to select from 1-9 heat settings.

3. Press the ‘Timer’ button to choose the heating time you need for your body and feet zones (2 hours or 10 hours). The electric blanket will turn off when the time has lapsed.

4. To switch off the blanket, slide the ON/OFF switch to the ‘OFF’ position.

• 1-3 low, gentle heat.

• 4-6 medium heat.

• 7-9 high heat.
